To embark on an exciting journey into the unknown, to meet magical characters and explore fantasy lands, to experience worlds filled with incredible adventures. Hard not to agree that all of these are one of the essential gaming goals that allow us to take - sometimes much needed - break from reality.

And in order to do so we’ve launched a Midweek Sale focusing on just that! Check out dozens of Classic Adventures titles with deals as high as -90% available until November 13th, 11 PM UTC. Among many, this is what we have in store:

Legend of Grimrock (-80%)
Dungeon crawling role playing game with an old school heart mated with modern execution. As a group of prisoners you are sentenced to certain death by exile to the secluded Mount Grimrock for vile crimes you may or may not have committed. Unbeknownst to the captives, the mountain is riddled with ancient tunnels, dungeons and tombs built by crumbled civilizations of days long past. If you ever wish to see daylight again and reclaim freedom, your ragtag group of prisoners must form a team and descend through the mountain, level by level.

Dragon's Lair Trilogy (-60%)
Putting “classic” into the Classic Adventures. This bundle offers 3 incredible adventures in the form of fantasy action adventure titles famous for their Western animation-style graphics and interactive movie-like gameplay.

In Dragon's Lair, you play the heroic Dirk the Daring, a valiant knight on a quest to rescue the fair princess from the clutches of an evil dragon!

Space Ace will have you take control of Ace - Defender of justice, truth, and the planet Earth who is being attacked by the evil Commander Borf.

And in Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp you will be once again leading Dirk on a perilous quest, this time to save Princess Daphne from being forced to marry wicked, evil wizard Mordroc.

No One Lives in Heaven (-75%)
Have you ever wondered what happens to the inhabitants of a game world when you have finished it? Well, you can now check it out in this action, role-playing exploration game. In No One Lives in Heaven, the NPCs have been left alone for years and you are the first person to meet them again. With a lot of humor and a pinch of philosophy, you'll explore how the characters of old games would fare today if they were abandoned. All your decisions have consequences and influence the course of history.

Demon's Winter (-75%)
And if turn-based fantasy title from 1986 sound more like your type then jump into Demon’s Winter, where you must search the lands and seas for spells to trap the demon-god Malifon and undo his mystical curse. Entertaining and very well-written, if not revolutionary.

Wizards & Warriors (-50%)
An RPG as vast as legend itself and available only on GOG. In this fantasy adventure, in an enchanted medieval realm known as the Gael Serran, an evil Pharaoh has overcome a curse and returned to wreak havoc. Only the legendary Mavin Sword - a blade forged of twin metals, one cursed by evil, the other blessed by the divine - has the strength to bring his defeat.

All of those and many more adventures can be found in our Classic Adventures sale. Sharpen your blade, gather your potions and embark on magical journeys!
GOG ... still exists?!!! >:( *complains*

I hope Heroine's Quest finally shows up in the near future. And obviously I'd like the missing Humongous games.

argamasa: A sale still with the old format style...
Where do you see an old format style promo? I only see a lazy, catalog mapped sale page.

ciemnogrodzianin: Perhaps GOG uses old format to make a final check if the list of games and prices are fine – and only then they launch a new page, which is impossible to read also for them :D
:D

When i saw it, the sale was recently released and it was with the old format, sure. But several time after this they changed it to the new format. That´s because i mentioned it.

Our expert sales-master :) ciemnogrodzianin that check these pages more than ours i think other times have noticed too.

What i don´t like of the new format is the numerous labels/series of games and only at the bottom of the page the full list.
why is there Xuan-Yuan Sword VII art DLC but not the actual game? :D

Not so expert, but I know that feeling when you open a sale page, you're happy it's the old layout, then you reopen and it's suddenly damaged by the new design :D I can confirm I noticed such change once or twice recently. I even started to look for some alternative links to the old version :D, but no success here, sorry.

ciemnogrodzianin: Nope. It's the new one. I've noticed that sometimes an old layout is loaded in a few minutes after sale's launch, but after a while it's replaced with the new one.

The irony is the sales lists in your post are easier to browse than the official site.
They should have two versions. One for the tablet tards and another like the original website.
