OlivawR: One of my favorite songs this year from one of the best albums:

The 80s were my decade for great metal music, and this sounds like it stepped right out of Headbanger's Ball. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing it, I listened to a couple of their other songs and I totally dig it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8Qh5NXRjD8
Rock on, Skull Fist! \m/

I wanted some new thrash metal desperately. So I attempted to listen to Havok. The music isn't bad, but I can't stand the vocalist. I just want another vocalist like Tom Araya, back when he still had a voice, and great thrash metal music to go along with it. Oh, well back to Seasons...

Listen to everything "Deathchain" and "Torture Killer" - TK had vocalist (growler? definitely not "singer") change so their latest album sounds bit different. some like old some new as usual.

Get your shit together. Where's the weird? It can't be proper Japanese without the weird.
So, how about some Baby Chocoreto?
Not terribly original, my suggestion, but I found out about them only recently, so I'm sharing. :)

deadcult: Been listening to a lot of grind like Weekend Nachos(yes ridiculous name)
Also Origin is probably my favorite tech death band at the moment.
I also recommend Kylesa for some stoner, sludge, whatever they are.
Looking for some more grind and doom bands to listen to if anyone has any recomendations
Weekend Nachos are awesome, and a helluva good group of dudes. I set up a show for them back in '07 or so and they brought the jams. Also Origin is probably my favorite tech death band at the moment.

Kylesa too is an awesome band. Several of the members were also in the crust band Damad, a longtime favorite. Awesome female vocals by Lauren Pleasance, who has been one of my longtime unrequited crushes, haha.
