Just came across a band that's only been around since about 2011. In search of sight check em out they are really unique compared to most metal that I've heard.

Good balance of melody and aggression imo

1) Go check out "Skeletonwitch". You're welcome, yes I know, they're your new favorite band.

2) Lombardos.ousting is a perfect example of this BS trend of 1-2 band members owning the bamd, and the others being hired/contracted help. I will not.support Slayer until this is made right, and I have.NO interest in a Kerry King.solo album masquerading as a Slayer release. No Lombardo = no slayer.

I've been listening to a lot of Megadeth lately. I always liked their hits, but I just recently picked up their 2-Disc anthology set and the albums Youthanasia and So Far, So Good...So What? They're growing on me more and more every day outside of their hits, and I'd venture to say Elysian Fields is one of my all time favorite songs. Been picking up some Metallica albums too, I've always loved them. They were the first band I knew, my Dad had (and still has) the S&M album they released, and I used to just sit around, my three year old self, jamming to Metallica. xD Lastly, I don't really know if this counts as metal, but I picked up both of White Zombie's albums today, La Sexorcisto and Astro Creep 2000. I can't get enough of Thunderkiss 65, and I love how Rob samples classic horror and exploitation movies. Great stuff.

Megadeth are one of the.most consistanly great metal bands of all time. Dialectic Chaos/This day we fight is my favorite metal.song.of the decade. Tornado of souls might be the perfect metal song.

Ive personally always prefered the 69 Eyes to HIM, but I dont really consider either metal. Well, not heavy anyways :)
