Ulver - Bergtatt – Et eeventyr i 5 capitler
A very.. wintry album.
I was completely unaware of them. Just listened to Hollow Psalms; very melodic and while I can hear influences on many BM bands (such as Satyricon), they sound unique - loved these accoustic passages from time to time as well as the drumming. Overall, they seem to be very talented musicians.
"Hollow Promise" is a very nice song that reminded me a bit of Necromantia's "Spiritforms of the Psychomancer" in the way it starts and "Userpent" has that catchy tremolo riff which is great! Later I'll listen to their other albums as well.
