Mega Man 11 is an upcoming action-platform video game developed by Capcom, and is the twelfth main entry in the original Mega Man series. It is planned to be released in late 2018 for Microsoft(PC Steam)Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.The game was announced in December 2017 as part of the celebration of the series' 30th anniversary, along with the announcements of re-releases of earlier Mega Man games. Mega Man 11 will feature 3D polygonal characters and environments, departing from the pixel art-based approach from previous games and it will be 2.5D.It is being directed by Koji Oda and produced by Kazuhiro Tsuchiya.

Capcom probably produced more Street Fighter 2 versions alone. I would say that they restrained themselves with Mega Man.

As for Mega Man and other 'rotting corpses', I think they're 'done' and should be tossed to the fans, mod/expansion wise.

When it comes to gaming, developers and/or publishers need to work smarter. Some simply don't bother. -_-
