Brasas: Because what exactly do you believe in when it comes to Sambo? He can't both be a malignant and effective piece of a broader movement deserving telling off, and at the same time be so obviously and demonstrably wrong to merit condescension... or how do you square that circle?
I did not want to get into this, but I need to point out that Sambo can be all of that because he only comes in here to get a rise out of people. He denies it, but every post he has ever made was nothing more than an attempt to aggravate.

fronzelneekburm: Das Land der Dichter und Denker, everyone!
A more fitting term nowadays would be "Das Land der dichten Denker".

Who are you kidding? :) There's no pie in this joint that ain't got your finger on it :)

Also you know we don't bite that hard if you do want to talk more right? Your choice.

Now, if he is a troll, that would imply he is not sincere in his stated opinions - ergo futile to try and convince him out of them. And trying to shame him about them is giving him what he wants: lulz :)

I don't think he is a troll though, but then, this is the first I noticed him... I do know you though, and you sometimes show a tendency towards this new normal that I see more and more online where "earnest disagreement one can't understand or identify with" == trolling.

Sorry...

Fair enough. :D
No need to apologize.

Good Lord, what a mess this place is. You guys need some hugs? Cookies, maybe? I could always bring in the folks from the free-for-all thread to make things calmer.
Or call Judas. Don't think I won't do it. He may have betrayed Jesus to the Romans in the forum, but I'll be happy to betray this roamin' forum to Judas.
In other words:
- No name-slinging
- No unironic flamebaiting
- No unironic flaming
- No provoking
- No shiv fights
Got it?

Oh god, guys we better listen to this man. I think he might just be crazy enough to do it! He's a loose cannon!

No, thank you. There shall be no self-censorship here just for appearances to pretend everyone is cuddly-wuddly. Let people say whatever they want to say. The thread comes with a fair warning and anyone who can't take it can easily avoid this topic and others like it. The line should only be drawn at viable personal threats and so far there haven't been any. There is only one candidate in this thread who (due to mental instability) is at risk of doing this but he hasn't crossed the line yet. He usually loses his temper and "leaves" the forum before he makes a irreversibly complete ass of himself. Rinse and repeat.

PS: Judas has already seen this thread:

Judas will do anything for 30 pieces of silver.

I'll do anything for a Klondike Bar.

Oh.
Well, just keep the no shiv fights rule, then. Blood is hard to clean up.

I'll give you a Klondike Bar if you give me 30 pieces of silver.

Let's end this week with an editorial of the New-York Times ....

EDIT: and if you don't have time, just check the last paragraph.

Perhaps we should rename the thread to "Meanwhile in Germany":

About 500 men with a migrant background tried to storm a club in Bielefeld on new years eve. Again many women were sexually attacked like in Cologne

Meh. It's nothing that wasn't said a thousand times before. And I don't particularly like the way they paint Angelona as the sole responsible of what's happening in the whole continent; but yeah, I guess in times like this a scapegoat is always handy...
Meanwhile :

Currently impossible now, that's a forum feature we ask for a loooooong time ;)

I'll at least update the content of the OP tomorrow.

I don't know how Italians feel in general about the EU (the union, not the territory) but it's a very common thought in press and forums that Germany (and thus Merkel) is leading EU like she's the only captain on board (with François Hollande as her pet dog).

This can get ugly here in Sweden.
Now there are reports that the police have buried similar occurrences here and if it turns out to not be unique events it might be violent reactions.
People are already burning down buildings that are going to be used as shelters for immigrants all over the country, as in people taking the law in their own hands. The authorities have started to keep the addresses for new shelters secret because of this. I hope it's not going to escalate.
