Yoda Stories would have been nice.
I know this is Star Wars, but... these deals-deals are skaven manipulated for GoG users, yes-yes.

Star Wars doesn't really get me excited anymore but these games remind me, why it was good once...

M3troid: No Battlefront 1+2 Remaster yet? :(
Considering what a complete mess Aspyr made of them, we're better off without. The only decent release of theirs in recent times was the Tomb Raider remasters, and I'm betting it has a lot more to do with the dedicated fans that made it rather than any actual involvement from Aspyr in the project.

Yep, still disappointing in what Star Wars games are still not available to us.
Like with Bethesda, many of us have had all on offer here for years.

And for some reason, around four Star Wars games available at GOG are not part of this sale, including the original and classic Dark Forces.

Every year, they should be able to give us at least one new Star Wars game at GOG on May the 4th.

I personally find it hard to get enthusiastic about the remaster of a game I already own here, when I'd rather have something new first ... and that's before I even look at the price.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I still however get enthusiastically reminded of when I made my first acquisition at GOG, back on the 1st May 2017, and in subsequent days bought several Star Wars games ... and over time grabbed the rest here.

GOG could giveaway a SW game for us, right?! XD

May the force be with us all! ;)
I'm surprised that Star Wars™: Jedi Knight™ II - Jedi Outcast™ is not included.

Ultra.Instinct.: Careful with those bundles, some of them are pricier than buying the games individually.

STAR WARS Force Bundle = 20€ | Individual games = 12,5€
STAR WARS Strategy Bundle = 10€ | Individual games = 8€
STAR WARS RPG Bundle = 4€ | Individual games = 5€
STAR WARS Pilots Bundle = 10€ | Individual games = 14€

I can't understand some of these bundle prices/policy.
It's not new. GOG has been doing this for years. Here's one of the current non-Star Wars examples.

Attached is an example of a bundle that was on sale in the past, but not at the moment. There have been many like this.

Please note that STAR WARS™: X-Wing Special Edition AND STAR WARS™: TIE Fighter Special Edition AND STAR WARS™: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter AND STAR WARS™: X-Wing Alliance™ AND STAR WARS™ Starfighter™ is included in STAR WARS Pilots Bundle but you already own this item, and will not receive another copy when you buy this pack.
AWESOME!!!
Moar useless bundles!

(Youtube) Just Can't Get Enough

*sing*

I just can't get enough
I just can't get enough

And I just can't get enough
And I just can't get enough

*sing*

Fun fact: With 5000 individual games you can create 4.22... × 10^16325 different bundles. That's a lot.

That seems almost exactly my GOG experience!

With this year May the 4th, am missing only SW Battlefront Classic and Force Unleashed II (and the LEGO ones) - leaving them for Xmas sales despite Unleashed II being at the lowest for a long time now.

As for the Remaster, meh, the price is not right at all, so I shall wait until is a more realistic price and not a cash grab.
(the original still good fun).

At first thought that they could be mistakes or being careless, but given the marketing age we live in. Have realized that a possible (imho, and likely scenario) is such bundles exist for emotional/impulsive buying motives.
1) The non-Star Wars example creates a sense of "bargain" that a user has found making it feel it found a deal otherwise it would not exist - everyone loves a bargain.
2) The Star Wars bundles for the less analytic (e.g. not using price trackers) creates a quick way to get a bundle via sense of urgency ("Time-limited"). For the more analytic, they spend more time on the site thus the user spends more time/attention in the store therefore increasing the odds of buying something - as you did when looking for another example :)

Marketing nowadays is close to either propaganda (e.g. outlandish claims and adjective usages, mind games (e.g. sense of urgency), manipulative tactics (e.g. FOMO), among other "techniques". My view that is its not sustantaible for business in the long term or healthy for consumers.

Or it could just be sloppy work? Maybe, but given the enshitification days, its unlikely that every business on the planet lost their skills virtually in the same period I tend to believe that is just "modern marketing"...
Meh. Wake me when GOG gets a Cinco De Mayo sale over the bloated zombie franchise sale.

Never attribute to malice what is better attributed to incompetence; this is the same store that regularly has sales with wrong timing windows, game pages with obvious mistakes, and many other questionable issues on a regular showing.

I agree, and notice that once in a while. But my professional experience tells me that such mistakes arise from poor to bad management decisions given certain business priorities - e.g. not taking advantage of the handheld retro boom; despite owing all games in a bundle, the bundle itself does not appear as owned; the newsletter got significantlly worse and becoming useless...among others.

My approach given these unique times is: give feedback once and allow a chance for the company to improve. If not, no issue, at the end of the day it's their business and their choices. All I can do is decide whether its worth buying here or anywhere else.

And, for the moment, to me, the GOG issues are minor and tolerable and thus, a somewhat content customer.
Once they are not, I just take my wallet elsewhere. Its up to them to provide a good service/product and its up to consumers to decid if its worth it, and when we think its not longer worth it, move on.

As a gamer, the backlog is real and so many games to play and so little time so....no pressure on the customer end, and the burden solely relies on the service/product provider.

Waifu4Life: Forget that, even the classics aren't on sales, I'm disappointed. Hell, even Dark Forces Classic is not on sale.
Reckon, on purpose as a sort of attempt to "upsell" the remaster that continues to have a silly price (imho).

"Purchase STAR WARS ™ Dark Forces Remaster and receive STAR WARS ™ Dark Forces (1995) as a gift through May 4th 2024, 23:00:00 UTC!"

Actually I think it left the whole Galaxy.
