Magnitus: I guess I'll hold on to my Max Payne discs for as long as I can then.
The first game was great. The second game was technically better, but if you played the first one, more of the same to a large extent.
I don't see much of a point in the 3rd instalment. Just let the poor guy die already and move on.
All good things have an end and the Max Payne saga ended with the second instalment for me.
I dunno, I thought Max 3 was also great. [shrug]
It's basically more of the same type of gameplay & gunplay, even though the setting is a bit different. Still, game looked and ran great; one of Rockstar's best technical PC ports.
I love the entire series. [shrug]
GeraltOfRivia_PL: Rockstar are as likely to release them DRM-free as i am likely to get a high rated post. So not happening.

Maybe, but as cheap as these are on Steam, they might go wherever the money is. Since MP doesn't have the music 'problem' of GTA, you never know.
For now: still doubt it.
Especially since they are pulling GTA Trilogy Classics (GTA3, VC, SA) away from Steam tomorrow (with barely much warning) and are planning to only sell the Remasters for PC on their own Rockstar Launcher store.
If GTA Trilogy Remaster hits Steam, it'll be way later.
And since Rockstar seems to be obsessed w/ DRM and game-clients (especially their own now) - so, I doubt Max 1,2,3; LA Noire; Red Dead Redemption 2; Bully: Scholarship; Manhunt 1 and 2; and/or GTA's are coming to GOG any time soon.
Swedrami: Probably no legal issues at all, it's maybe just that Rockstar (who not only owns the rights to Max Payne 3 but the whole franchise, iirc) doesn't want (for whatever reason) any of the Max Payne titles to be sold here.
I agree w/ this. Rockstar will be Rockstar. They don't have anything here on GOG.
Would be nice if they sold Max Payne IP back to Remedy, as Remedy still brings their other stuff here to GOG....well, at least for now, anyways - since Alan Wake Remastered even isn't here on GOG....yet; that's now on Epic Store, likely exclusive for 6months to a year or so.
