MobiusArcher: You on Windows? Leo Laporte (The Tech Guy) always recommends just sticking with Windows Defender. He says 3rd party antivirus/antimalware are security risks. Apparently they just give bad actors more ways to break into your system.
That is assuming you go for the paid always running version of malwarebytes? You can just use it in free mode and scan once in a while at your lesuire, hence not leaving an alledged hole open your system, and gainiing the benefits of the scan as and when. Personally I would say reliance on one tool alone (especially one from M$) is more prone to risk than scanning with multiple different approaches and techniques.
