I am starting this mostly as a petition to get multiplayer for the new Master of Orion game. Even the old ones besides the original had multiplayer. And it is something that really should be on there. It will be enjoyable single player. But I have been wanting a new Master of Orion for a long time mostly because there is a boat load of crappy turn based strategy games. And master of orion the original was the best one ever made imo. I would really like to see the devs add multiplayer support.

I have zero confidence in Wargaming. I expect the same business model from World of Tanks (aka milking for everything), so i will stick with GalCiv and Endless Space series.

I believe a South American studio is working on MoO. GPG, now called Wargaming Seattle, is working on some other mystery project.

Thanks. Some googling found me this, which confirms what you say but still leaves me optimistic, considering that some of the original devs are said to be helping and the game is confirmed to not be F2P (but it will have DLC).
