[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog (this one)
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic.
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

JakobFel: I'm not sure I get how this works.. if I don't have the game currently installed but have an account, can I still unlock this?

Nice! My mom is actually really into their games and I enjoy them from time to time, I'll have to send her the link. Thanks!

BlackThorny: While that offer may be over
There are also a bunch of codes from the past that are still (? or returned to) working
Use coupon MOBFREEAWAKENING for
https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/5471/awakening-the-dreamless-castle/?pc or awakening-the-dreamless-castle mac
Use coupon BIGFISHCASINO for
Phantasmat pc or https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/6144/phantasmat/?mac
puppetshow-mystery-of-joyville pc or https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/5208/puppetshow-mystery-of-joyville/?mac
puppetshow-return-to-joyville pc or https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/7169/puppetshow-return-to-joyville/?mac

Use FREEGAME675945 - A game of choice for free (valid until 6/6)
With the stuff I posted, I had one stamp left to get, so at least one of these may also qualify for another free game slot on top of that, which may be worth knowing for the people following this. Good intel!

TurdFerguson87: Big Fish apparently has been making a small number of games to grab for free (standalones. apparently), along with a couple always-free games: https://www.bigfishgames.com/promotions/playaparttogether

Bonus: Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst can be obtained for free at checkout using the coupon code MOBFREERAVEN.

Tip - uncheck the "free trial" for the Game Club. You don't need to put in your CC info for it.

Saved myself about $159.91‬ altogether, if my math is right.
Well, I guess that either this promo is a REGIONAL thing, or it might have already ended.

On my side, that first URL redirects to https://www.bigfishgames.com/us/en.html (which is the actual HOME page of the site), with no statement in sight about that promo.

OTOH, one of the links on the home page redirects to https://www.bigfishgames.com/us/en/play-apart-together.html , which is a PR page about a multi-companing initiative.

:((

EDIT: OOPS !!! I apparently replied to a 3-day-old post, which the browser cache was presenting to me as a fresh one. It seems a bunch of stuff has been discussed afterwards and before my reply, so you might wish to ignore it (or at least wait a bit until I do my catch-up ! ) Sorry for that ...

That's just gravy. I'm kicking myself now because I overlooked the fact the stamps seem like a monthly thing. Don't we all wish we could have turned back the clock? Oh well.

Can confirm your codes work too. My Bonus was Kitty Glitter slots. Some people don't seem to understand the nature of these games on that site, so I don't pay attention to any of that. That's almost another $50 savings. Not too shabby.

I am not sure if anyone has posted this here, but Football Club Simulator is free on FX Store

https://juegos.fxinteractive.com/fx/game.php?id=648&Football-Club-Simulator
It looks like Epic will be giving away Total War TROY on 13th August:
www.epicgames.com
"Coming 13th August – FREE to claim on the Epic Store for the first 24 hours!"
I know there will be large number of DLCs but it will be game from SEGA given away on launch date.

Money Talks. I am wondering how many will be given away before the servers go down.

Edit
The game will have DRM as per FAQ on TW webpage:
Yes, we are planning on using Denuvo for DRM purposes.

Is this Epic new strategy, giving games for free on launch day?

It happened with Sludge Life last week, it will happen with Samurai Shodown Collection next week and now this one.

It is starting to look like unfair competition.

Unfair to who exactly? EA,Bethesda,Activision,UbiSoft,RockStar? They have enough money to compete.
Maybe you mean it is unfair to Steam, the Behemoth market leader?
Gog never was on the same scale to begin with, I doubt will ever be, and only benefits as more titles that used to be "Steam exclusives" by default will tickle their way into DRM-free, especially when some where given for free.

I am not a lawyer but in the long run this behavior could force others out of the market or prevent new stores from entering the market. WB games did not appear here after Batman games were given away on Epic store (the same is true for many other games) so I do not think that release on Epic could lead to broader availability of previously exclusive titles.

JakobFel: Ah crap, I was afraid of that.. I don't have much hard drive space and I don't play either game that much so I've kept them uninstalled until I get a new hard drive. Oh well, I guess I'll have to reinstall until after this promo. Thanks for the heads up.

BlackThorny: How will the coupon codes be provided? the posts are rather cryptic about something that will happen "in the coming days"
They've published another article with the coupon:
LOTROFREEQUESTS
Staging for free quest coupon (Given the "staging" in the article name, I expect that to be renamed soon, with the link then probably not working anymore.) :)

The DDO equivalent article doesn't seem to have been published yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if that coupon turns out to be DDOFREEQUESTS. :)
