gamesfreak64: I assume you can read some Dutch? if so, check the dutch site that started the referendum: geenstijl dot nl
catpower1980: Thanks, I've bookmarked this website ;) Useful for a quick glance of the situation in NL as I already have much to follow in Belgian and French news.
Meanwhile the 'shit' (pardon ma french) is hitting the fans again, have you read the news about that awful Pvda ?
I am a shamed i voted on that party for years, but in my 'defence' that Pvda was far better then any formation of Pvda will ever be.
It was in the 80s and 90s.... that pvda was better then the current one,
after the shitty euro came we dropped voting, cause VVD kept the majority and together with that awfull new Pvda they keep 'ruling' *read: crapping) our country and 'selling' it to 'shady' people.
Currently the Pvda would be at 8 seats.... but the current 'leader' will withdraw in favor of a welknown major, this one might get 18 or 20 seats easily and who knows become MP next years or in 2020...
So Pvda is a nono nowadays, and you better stay away from them.
Anyways the people in the Brussels arent realy elected, the claim they are but it has been a secret one.
Do yo watch pdc darts? kim and ronnie are doing great they defeated there opponents, unfortunately our vgerwen and v barneveld are 'messing up' it = 3-3 now and they will loose, so it will be belgium vs Australia.
update: if i read it correctly it seemed our guys managed to win : 4 - 3 thats a close call, very close.
So the result will be 2- 1 for NL
So it will be BE vs NL always nice to watch

The political powers that be in Poland, at the moment, are anti-European. But plausibly aligned with Valve, because the business model is, beyond first time demand, based on no viable second-hand market. European Oracle ruling? (i.e. 3rd party could resell Oracle licence as they themselves upgraded)
European Union will be the one to force both Valve and gog.com to resell.
Never will they do it because it is fair - us gamers owning our games, and maybe not liking them. I especially think back on DA - Inquisition disgustingly poor PC release on this one.
For gamers - EU will force after market, I predict. After consumer association action.
The mainstream publishers have not allow it willingly, so it has to be forced - even if gamers would benefit from it.

I read that EU wants one, and seems to love DRM....
anyway best would be brexit, frexit, nexit, grexit, hexit, and bring back control again....
You cant imho treat 24 or 30 countires like 1 big superstate, like an oligarchy, that wont work for the common people, only the ones in power will benefit.
It would be better to have the old EEC back.
2005 referendum when the dutch voted against, (its on youtube) was ignored .... the last referendum was ignored aswell...
Plus more people and countries seem to want a referendum about leaving the EU, which might be best for all of us....

Shadowstalker16: Guys this is what he's talking about : http://archive.is/tHaR7 Its the social media companies that are taking ''anti hate speech'' to beyond minimum legally required levels. Depressing.
This kind of faecal matter is bad, real bad... I'd be worried if current day politicians were smart or even capable enough to take full advantage of this, but they're so stupid & incompetent that these things tend to either blow up in their faces or end up as a fart in the wind. I believe this time it will be the former, not only because of this particular thing, but because the "progressive" front has been pushing their agenda just a tiny bit too hard, both here in Europistan & in the United Bronies of America.
The result is, of course, a huge rise in popularity for extreme right wing politics... which won't do anyone a favour, but there you have it. It's happening in Germany & Sweden, gee I wonder why?
And does anyone believe Trump is poised on the brink of victory on his own merits? Nope, it's the hysterical left that's pushing lots of people to vote for the guy.
I certainly wish everyone could be a bit more moderate in their views, so we don't end up with this kind of trampling on each other's rights, which always end up in a severe backlash from the other side.
Then again, it's not like politicians care about their people. For the past 30 years especially, it's been all about filling up their pockets as fast as possible before their mandates run out. And that entails a whole lot of pandering. Which means we end up with crap like this.
Oh, be fair now. Current?

We all know but are afraid to admit that the current 'leaders' arent doing the right things, they mess up and will always messing up.
Lets take hillary, its been done before be it by her hubby, dindt work too well, we have seen others who also messed up, so whats left is Trump i guess, since options are running out for the voters in the US.
As for goggers, i love all of them, no matter where they are from.... games dont have boundaries or believes imho, we are all here because we love games and movies, so here we are all equall.
I only hate politicians, well 99% of them anyway, some guys seem to be ok for a politician i guess.
In our country its hard to vote for a decent person.... in UK there are some people who look ok like Mr farage, In hungary Mr Orbans sounds okay and seems to care for his people,
I dont know about france and belgium , only that the current government makes a mess out of it.
From what i read Sweden seems to be afraid to take back control....
And germany well ... look at juncker and his weird ideas and look at merkel....... nuff said i guess :D

What about Wilders? Or is he too extreme/deluded for you (have no real opinion on the guy myself...though I think it's shocking he has to live under permanent police protection...for very real reasons given what happened to Fortuyn)? As for Germany, Merkel is a disaster on every level...I can't quite believe what Germany has become under her chancellorship. The atmosphere is suffocating...and there seems to be no way out.

In terms of freedom, there should be responsibility.
Or?
Besides - as much I am perso pro-EU - I am - I love how European Union is with the consumer, and the corporate. Oracle ruling, and all that.

I dont know that much about him, i think he makes some sence, but the way he brings it is a bit awkward, but often straight to the point.
Anyways i havent voted for years, and wont vote or will vote BLANK cause the ones that will be elected will only lie
and i dont support liars, so thats why i dont vote anymore.
Merkel is a big disaster, i still wonder how this 'person' got the 'power' to mess up a entire country, who voted for this person ? and why she still has the power, but i guess she doesnt want to go away eventhough many people asked her to leave.

low rated
Someone on another forum has run the numbers. The EU healthcare plan being cancelled with the collapse of the EU will kill more former EU citizens each year than has been killed by austerity since the start of the financial crisis to this day. So even though the EU is ruled by Germany, and Germany is ruled by the Christian Democrats, who are terrible (obvious from the name alone, really), it's still much better than no EU at all.

I don't understand it either...when you listen to Merkel in German, it's really embarrassing...she's hardly able to form a coherent sentence. She's got a certain kind of low cunning that served her well in party intrigues but I don't think she's really intelligent. And she isn't a democrat either in my opionion...she oozes commie East Germany, totally authoritarian mindset. Makes me really depressed that she might well be chancellor until after 2020.
