I've found the exact part you're looking for in the Spanish eBay site. I guess I got that search result right away because that's where I am now, and you're not. Unfortunately, they don't ship overseas. (Literally, that seller doesn't even ship to the Spanish islands :-D) ANYONE-- found the exact thing i need for my monitor-but still cant seem to order it. posting screenshot in case anyone else may know more. but that is the part EXACTLY. However, it's a power adapter you're looking for, and you don't really need the exact part. In fact, the SOY-1200500 is listed as a "generic power adapter". You can do with a compatible adapter, and the 500Z looks like it's compatible.
See the attached pictures (sorry about the 500z, it's from a zoomed-in PDF). You can see both adapters have exactly the same specs, including the funny (important!) diagrams with the lines, circles, plus/minus signs.

Scroll down to "Reading an AC/DC Adapter Label" to see what I'm talking about. If it sounds like Chinese to you anyway, just stick to the idea that if the numbers and diagrams are the same (and the connector fits), you can replace an adapter for the other (*).
So you have a few choices. I don't know which one is more convenient for you, or possible at all:
- Order the 500Z (**)
- Walk into a local electronics store with your current adapter in hand, and tell the guy you want a compatible one. Check carefully the label and the connector.
- Try to find a compatible one online. If you get to see a picture of the label or the manufacturer specs in their website, you should be able to determine if it's ok for you. Feel free to ask if you need help with this.
(*) The numbers might actually differ and still be a valid replacement. But I don't want to further confuse you, and also I think you'll feel safer with exact numbers.
(**) I'm assuming the 500Z has the same connector as the 500. I'd be very surprised that it's otherwise.
