As of today, Malwarebytes has a runaway RAM leak being reported - looks like connected to "Webprotection". Malwarebytes is aware of and working on it. In the meantime there is a temporary fix at Reddit

We're still running v2 here and it works fine.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I'll just not use MBAM until a patch arrives (don't need the live protection).

I'm like you I don't use it for the live protection but man I do like using it for scans when I think something might be fishy... I just have more confidence in their ability to find stuff than other scans. I've been a MWB guy for a while now.

Exact same here, it's my only go-to for when I need on-demand scanning.
