billybgame: Very odd....I always got emails of sales...so your post made me check...the only thing I was "subscribed" to was Wishlisted items. I hope that fixes it....the GoG support was saying it was a problem with the SBCglobal email service. And, no, it never was in SPAM.....so hopefully this was it all along. I never thought to check, as how would it get de-selected, on it's own?!? Thanks.
Glad to help. :)
Shout out to Smutny from customer support for their sorting out my mistake. Thanks mate!

Already used the refund, and a bit more, to buy some more stuff.

mecharma: WELCOME Everyone!
. . . Howdy, goblin friend. You did me no ill, so I had but to keep my promise.

I just bought eighteen games (mostly puzzle games and platformers and a mix of both <3 ) for a little over €50, propelling me to just short of 60,000 XP. And I grabbed the free Expeditions: Conquistador and Dex—thank you very much!

I could have grabbed Victor Vran but I heard that an expansion was coming; and since the developers are behind the DLC-nest Tropico series, I'll wait and see if they release a complete edition. :P

. . . Pleasure to make affairs with you, my friend. I am sure we will meet again soon, for Winter is coming.

You'll just let the game expire without redeeming it?
So, I'm a huge supporter of gog and have over 660 games in my library. However, I currently have been left with a very sour taste in my mouth due to their complete lack of help on an issue I had with not receiving one of the free game codes that I qualified for. I have in fact spent enough in this sale to qualify for all three free game codes, I received two of them but NOT the third. When I clicked on the redeem button the website glitched out on me and when it started to respond again 5 minutes later it showed the game had been redeemed but I did NOT receive the email with the code.

I have submitted two support tickets with still no resolution. I received only ONE reply to the support tickets and that was to tell me to check my junk mail folder (it's like the classic IT help desk response of "have you tried rebooting your PC"!!!). I replied twice that the email was not in my junk mail folder and have not heard back from gog on the matter since.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of further responses from gog on this matter and can't but help feeling like they are ignoring me and hoping I just go away.

They don't work on the weekend.

I can't promise it, but I'm like roughly 85% certain you'll have your game no issues on Monday, if that makes you feel a bit better.

That's what I'm hoping now that I've sent my second support request in. But my original support request was responded to last Tuesday and my follow up emails during the working week went without a reply from gog. Anyway, hoping that this will be resolved on Monday.

Oh that's a bummer - I actually had the initial impression that this was from the last day or so, not since Tuesday - I get now why you were a bit ticked off.

I think so. I'm still grateful for the opportunity they gave me, though. It's just that I wish it were a complete game. (It reminds me of what Telltale Games does on the mobile platforms: they put the first episode of their games for free, and release the next ones as DLC. I don't like this system; I would rather have a separate demo or just buy the whole thing in one go.)

There is no need to submit multiple support tickets. One ticket is enough. They will answer you.

Well, the reply to the first support ticket, the one asking me to check my junk mail, stated that the ticket was now closed and I was concerned that my reply emails were either not received or did not reopen the ticket. That's why I submitted a second support ticket.

That's standard, just reply to it and it'll be "reopened", and keeping the ticket ID in subject also ensures it'll end up with the same person and the conversation can be followed, and maybe also be put higher on the pile. A new one ends up at the end of the queue and duplicates or what seem to be duplicates may even just be dismissed.

Fair enough. Would be nice to be able to see the status of your own support tickets online though.
Hmmm I'm going to assume I'm not going to get in the top 10...

Apparently there's going to be a check-in during the last half-day of the sale starting tomorrow morning. That, or they forgot to remove the 'countdown till next check-in' on the "my promo status" page.
If there is a check-in for Sunday, that would mean that the maximum possible XP attainable without actually buying anything would be 4700, rather than 4600. ...Which makes no practical difference, of course, since I doubt there are any sale items going for $0.29 anyway. :P
