At least if I could buy Special Edition and gift my standard edition to someone else... but I guess this is not possible either??
Sadly, Gog can't seem to manage properly various upgrades (discounts, bundles, ownership, availability).
You can't gift it, if you already downloaded it, otherwise you can ask the support.
Btw, how is the game?

About the Torchlight situation:

- the discount DID change yesterday (from 85% to 66%),
- the original discounts were an error on our side,
- as of today, we've removed both Torchlight 1 and 2 from the sale

Apologies for any and all the inconviences this caused to you guys, hopefully we'll be able to make it up to you in the future :)

Joshimitsu93: That's really disappointing. I was waiting until later in the week to get the games that I wanted from the sale, and Torchlight 2 was gonna be one of them. Hopefully some other ARPGs get discounted. Grim Dawn maybe?

Btw, how is the game?
If I were to recommend one point&click adventure game to anyone, this would be it: Shadowgate (and I played The Longest Journey, Machinarium, Beneath a Steel Sky and some others).
This is the only game of such kind which I know of that has a replay value.
On different difficulty levels, solution to the same situations and puzzles can be different, there are some extra obstacles, more rooms available to explore, etc.
Production values are excellent, especially for a game coming from a small studio.
