Score Deals Up To 90% Off | Earn XP, Get Free Games

The Monstrous Fall Sale – one of the grandest sales of this year – has begun! Join us for 10 days of new deals up to 90% off, free games to unlock, and surprises yet to come!

Start by grabbing Little Big Adventure 2 totally free to kick off your own monstrous adventure – just redeem through the banner on the front page. The giveaway will last for the first 48 hours, so be fast - that's a true classic that you really shouldn't miss.

But this is only the beginning - you can score even more free games during the Monstrous Fall Sale: participate in the fun, collect badges, and keep shopping to earn XP and unlock:
—Expeditions: Conquistador,
—DEX
—Victor Vran

Every dollar spent gives you more XP (use your Wallet funds for an extra 10% boost) and you'll find great combos throughout the sale — like Divinity: Original Sin 2 or Tyranny, which unlock all 3 free games right off the bat.

Twitch Plays is coming back and the GOG.com community will once again channel its inner farmer in two special Stardew Valley events that will grant everyone additional XP, if completed successfully on twitch.tv/GOGcom

You can learn more about the Sale's mechanics and track your progress here.

The Monstrous Fall Sale starts off with a thunderous roar and hot deals – but check back every day for new offers, bundles, and announcements. The Sale will last until November 13, 10:59 PM UTC.

stevieknix: Is there any way to see if a game is part of a bundle without having to go through every bundle?
I too, would like to know this :)
Hey, question for anyone that might have seen or know this answer. I haven't read through this whole thread since it's gotten pretty long. I got a game which was 3750 points, and used the wallet, so should have gotten an extra 10%. Instead I got 4120 for it. Are they only doing increments of 10 on the experience? And rounding down at that?

VanishedOne: No bluetext reply so far it seems, but the page now reads:

Checking in is really simple: every day during the Monstrous Fall Sale you can visit your XP page and click the Check In button at the bottom of the page. You'll have 24 hours for each check-in and when you get 7 of them you will be awarded the "On a First-Name Basis" badge.

VanishedOne:
Taking that to mean there's no 500 exp for that one and therefore need to buy something for Expeditions, can't get it just for badges and checkins and the Twitch exp like it was with Spelunky?

Cavalary: Other badges = 3000
7 daily checkins = 700
2 Twitch goals = 600
Total = 4300
Normally there should also be the badge for 7 daily checkins for another 500 as per the FAQ, but that doesn't seem to work. At least not yet...
If it would work, it'd be 4800, and with the 3 more checkins till the end of the sale, 5100 and enough to get Expeditions even with the bug requiring to exceed the goal. But only if these 500 are actually added.
1000 XP for having an account
+ 500 for newly adding at least ten items to your wishlist
+ 500 for clicking one of the social media "share" buttons
+ 500 for visiting the Galaxy webpage
+ 500 for visiting the Wallet page
+ 100 for each day of the sale you check in (and there are ten days in the sale -- getting the badge doesn't mean you can't still check in on the remaining days ;) )
+ 300 for each successfully completed Twitch plays event (there were two -- both completed), regardless of whether you participated, watched, or were even aware of Twitch's existence
= 4600 XP
My total is sitting at 4300 (no purchases so far), which would seem to indicate that the 300 XP award from yesterday's (apparently) successful Twitch Plays of Stardew Valley has not yet been added.
So, yeah, you'll probably need to buy at least a single cheap game to get the lowest-tier XP reward game.

Nope. You sure got the XP from Twitch Plays, but you still have 3 days left to check in for the extra 300 XP! :)

GameZard: Any word on when we will be able to claim SINS OF A SOLAR EMPIRE®: REBELLION ULTIMATE EDITION?
avatar
LPDawid: Due to limitation of the Steam API, probably never. There's no way to check if someone owns a DLC.
What GOG can do is to remove requirement of owning DLC's, but Stardock may not like giving Ultimate Edition to people with only a base game.
Yeah, which makes adding the game to the connect page a joke.
I wonder why GOG's butt buddy, Devolver Digital hasn't got a bundle on here. I mean, GOG clearly bends over in any direction asked for them and they can't even bring us a bundle of their games?
edit: on top of that - what about Ashes of the Singularity, Stardock? How friggen cheap are you?

Great sale as always. Thanks GOG!
@adaliabooks @Vainamoinen @Leroux

I remember many people received Spelunky by doing those tasks during previous big sale and it seems they didn't buy anything. Even the forum was flooded by Spelunky gift codes.

I think the first locked game is a freebie for members who complete all tasks.

Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation is being released today and either Stardock has no plans to discount the original as of yet, or will discount it along with the release of the new version.

say waaaaaaat? Completely blind on that one. They'll do as they did with Sorcerer King and discount for owners of the 'original' game, but I'm not sure on newbies.
edit:... thanks meow <^..^>

Question: Why Shadowgate Special Edition Upgrade is not discounted?

I have a standard edition of this game and I really want to upgrade. Both standard edition and special edition are on sale, but not the upgrade. Is this deliberate or a mistake?

At least if I could buy Special Edition and gift my standard edition to someone else... but I guess this is not possible either??
why SINS OF A SOLAR EMPIRE don't recognise on GOG connect ?
i'm have all that DLC's on steam. ok, it didn't ULTIMATE EDITION however it not bought already own full game & DLCs on steam...
