—DEX
—Victor Vran

Every dollar spent gives you more XP (use your Wallet funds for an extra 10% boost) and you'll find great combos throughout the sale — like Divinity: Original Sin 2 or Tyranny, which unlock all 3 free games right off the bat.

Twitch Plays is coming back and the GOG.com community will once again channel its inner farmer in two special Stardew Valley events that will grant everyone additional XP, if completed successfully on twitch.tv/GOGcom

You can learn more about the Sale's mechanics and track your progress here.

The Monstrous Fall Sale starts off with a thunderous roar and hot deals – but check back every day for new offers, bundles, and announcements. The Sale will last until November 13, 10:59 PM UTC.

Grargar: The Winter sale, most likely to occur the beginning of December.

JK41R4: Thanks for the info.
Just before the Steam Winter Sale, I suppose.

So just to clarify, the three games one can get for the XP - are those going to change over time or is it going to be the same 3 until the end? More specifically, I have enough XP to get all three of them but I already own Victor Vran, so can I use that XP to get something else, or is that XP going to be wasted?
Thanks.

mecharma: Hey guys,

About the Torchlight situation:

- the discount DID change yesterday (from 85% to 66%),
- the original discounts were an error on our side,
- as of today, we've removed both Torchlight 1 and 2 from the sale

Apologies for any and all the inconviences this caused to you guys, hopefully we'll be able to make it up to you in the future :)
That is highly disappointing. It seems to have happened to other games as well (Bombshell Deluxe and Wasteland 2 Deluxe Upgrade). I should remind myself to grab a good deal immediately next time and not trust the "deals will stay for the whole duration of the sale" blurb again. Boo!

phaolo: Come on, it was an error for 2 titles.
Not nice, but not outrageous as some claim.
Come on . The 85% off Torchlight 2 discount was on the front page for days and none of the Gog staff saw it until yesterday ?

I hope to see the Wing Commander series go on sale. If not, maybe the Winter Sale.

Well, that's normal for Gog lately (sadly).
They probably angered the publisher and lost money for that mistake, so they had to remove everything ASAP.
Users just lost a chance to (unfairly) save 4$, still received 1-3 free games, and the rest of the sale is still good.

Darn, I had really hoped that we would finally get Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell to coincide with the US election today.

What? Wasteland 2 Deluxe Upgrade was on sale? I missed it! Please don't tell me it was for more than the so far standard 50% off...
Is daily check in for xp bugged for anyone else? I believe I've missed a day or two because the button simply wasn't clickable, in other words, it said Checked even if it wasn't...

truhlik: Thanks for reply.
I've contacted support. So lets see if they fix it before gog connect session finishes.
avatar
Vovchigus: My GOG Connect just got fixed. Hope yours is also fine!
Yep, same here. They also fixed my account. So I could redeemed one game from steam :)

phaolo: Thanks for the information.
It's a pity for those who were waiting for the final day to get Torchlight games, though.
Luckly I'm sure they'll have a chance in the next promo.

Btw, why does Konrad need to be free? :P
avatar
mecharma: It's an old inside joke, that noone ever laughed at...especially not Konrad...:(
I am still waiting for my complimentary Konrad to arrive. I was told when I first sent you the form that it might take several weeks, and that was months ago. =\

I don't think it's that GOG weren't aware that they had put it on sale, but that they thought they had publisher permission to discount it when they didn't.

I hope the Sins of a Solar Empire situation gets resolved soon. What's the point of having it on the Connect list if no one can claim it?

Same rewards, the games won't be changed or added to. And, no there's nothing more to do with your XP. However, if you already own a GOG copy of a game, and you redeem the "free" XP reward, you will still get a promo code (with an expiration date) that you can give to someone else, or use in trading (though I suspect Victor Vran will be the only one of the three that will hold much value in trade after this, the other two games' codes being way too easy to come by).

If it doesn't appear at first, wait some time and revisit the page (or reload it) later. The option to check in will appear sooner or later.

I hope there will be Bethesda bundle on sale as this is finally time for me to grab Quake3 and Wolf3D. Also, I wonder if Deus Ex and Painkiller games will appear too. ;p
