zeffyr: Hm, GOG Connect doesn't recognize Frozen Synapse on my Steam account. How do I fix that? I haven't added games via Connect before. Privacy settings are OK...
avatar
Grargar: Buggy bugs of bugginess. Nothing you can do except hope that GOG can fix it before the deals are over.
Nvm, it just fixed by itself :)

Wurzelkraft: The discount for Torchlight II was changed from -85% to -66%. I was about to buy it at the end of the sale (since it won't appear in GOG Connect apparently) but that's just messed up. I thought all discounts would remain the same for the whole duration.
avatar
immi101: the publisher probably remembered that the discount was only 66% at steam the last days. Can't give GOG a better deal than steam, right :p. Or someone at GOG HQ messed up and pressed the wrong numbers when entering the discount.

it sucks though, I had this on my to-buy list as well.
That's shame, I also wanted to get that one.

Trid: That's shame, I also wanted to get that one.
Well, nothing can last forever.

Fortunately I did buy it on the begginig of the promo. On the right place in the right time - as they say ;)
avatar
Digital_CHE: About the Activision bundle, You need to buy 10 games for to have the 60% discount...
If You have one game in your library, it doesn't count.
avatar
Painted_Doll: Tested on the promo page . Only received 50% off discount .
I'm only seeing 50% off as well.

EDIT: Wait, I don't think I interpreted that correctly. I'm only missing Singularity and TimeShift, hence I have "one game in my library" so it doesn't count. Is that correct?

Any tip for eternal "YOU ARE QUEUED FOR GOG CONNECT..."?
I waited for couple of hours, but without any result.

I'm in the same boat with you. I even contacted support and still no reply. I suggest you do the same.

The discounts have been all over the place. A bunch of discounts have said hey are 75 or 85% off but they are much less than that. Honestly, it's making me nervous and I'm not likely to spend more money until it gets sorted out.

If it's been longer than 5 minutes just refresh.
outside the first hour when they just updated the list with new games and everyone is just spamming the update button or refreshing the page(so basically DDOSing it), it should work fairly quickly.

Kabus: I have Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion Ultimate on Steam but not detected by GOG. Thanks to all devs for GOG Connect support!
I have the game + 2 DLC's thats mentioned in the ultimate version. Even if i bought the missing DLC it would not register anyways as it is not classed as Ultimate edition. Did that mistake with a game previously (4 dlc's i had but not the 5th, so bought the 5th but ahh well didnt work). you are going to need to sort things out a little here with games like ultimate (and other versions)
.

Oh i did purchasde Tyranny and it had £34.99 crossed out and new price of £34.99. Why have the porice crossed out? Its not released as of yet and will wait till thursday for it to come along :)
Did check my wishlist and removed an awful lot of them since i owned them in steam now (or origin/uplay). So many places, trying not to double/treble up on the same game anymore.... cost too much and am out of work now. So am happy that you are transfering games to GoG from steam thats one of the best things a site has done.
Especially since the somewhat demise of desura (ye ye had some games from there, some i lost that i bought, but all the free stuff and giveaways have been lost) carnt understand why people are still sellign keys for that place.

Same problem here with "YOU ARE QUEUED FOR GOG CONNECT...". Also contacted support. Still no answer.
Hope GOG can fix it before GOG Connect time runs out.
Silly question from someone who doesn't post and mostly lurks on the forums. Do we have any clue on what will be added to the sales list or bundles? Or is it always a surprise?

Wrong displayed discounts are no big deal. You can always put game into basket and checkout - you'll get real price.
Torchlight 2 was really discounted by 85%. I checked it.

I think it is a big deal. I shouldn't have to check the discounts in the cart to ensure the line up with what I saw. Especially if the discount ends up being less than expected.

*edit* I went to checkout with Torchlight 2 and only saw the 66%

Been considering Torchlight 2 myself, but it wasn't a "must have" so I left it alone for a while -- now only seeing the 66% off as well, instead of the former price, both on the sale page and on the checkout page.

Well the boys in blue know, but I don't think we can pressure them to spill the beans. :) For the rest of us whites and grays we just have to wait and see what each day brings. :)
