Epitaph666: So, why does the Double Fine Bundle say "Up to 80%" but when i click to buy all the rest of the games, Day of the Tentacle maxes out it's discount on 50%?
avatar
groundhog42: The "Up to 80%" means up to 80% off individual games within a bundle, rather than up to 80% off the bundle as a whole. Yes, it can be a bit confusing.
thanks, thought it had a bug.
Guess i'll wait some more for those games!
BUG
Homepage showed "NEW GAMES ON GOG CONNECT" now.

Yup, same here :S
I was about to jump at the opportunity of buying Way of the Samurai 4 for a very good price, when I noticed it's just the DLC pack and the maingame is not discounted at all. Oh well. Would be nice if DLC were separated from the main game offers; one can always dream, right?

Btw, how do you redeem your unlocked games? Do you have to click on something, do you usually receive an e-mail or how does it work? I have 5000/5000 xp, but nothing happened, no game added to my library, no mail. Is it just GOG's systems being slowed down with the sale, or did I miss something?

Probably they're fixing the whole "connect" thing now. I hope we do see some new games there!

Anyway, I have two questions:

A) I added 10 new games to my wishlist, yet the relative badge is not unlocked.

B) I really can't understand if Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition is worth my time. I'll probably buy it and see it for myself, but I really can't tell from the reviews. Many of the reviewers praise it, while there are others that really disliked it. There is no inbetween, either great or awful. I would like an opinion on that is somewhat objective.

It can sometimes take hours until the badges gets updated.

A) Happened to me as well, just wait a few minutes, eventually it should show up.

B) It's neither great nor awful; comparatively short but in some parts also unnecessarily long due to backtracking and such. Whether it's worth your time is something only you can decide, but maybe this review can help you form a first opinion. I'd say it has some interesting mechanics for its time and is entertaining enough, but there are much better games and other things you can spend your time on.

Thanks, your review helped a lot. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to play it, but at least I have a clearer picture of it now.

P.S. The badge is now unlocked, indeed it took its time.

I know that this may be a difficult question to answer. But does anyone know the likelihood of Grim Dawn getting a discount during the sale?

You need to hit the redeem buttons under the unlocked games (at least that is how it worked last sale)

Hm, I see no redeem button. The lock symbol is not clickable, and if I click on the game banner, I'm just directed to the game's shop page.
