Andrzejef: Only one question tho - how does the deal rotation work? Once announced - do they stay till the sale end, or are replaced by new ones?
avatar
mecharma: New deals + bundles every 24 hours and everything stays till the end :)
best sale type.

thanks for doing it this way again. i love the "no pressure" sales.

[more of this, please and less insomnia/"luck of the irish" style promotions.]

Thanks for LBA2 :)

Don't forget to release new stuff; sometimes it feels there are more sales than releases :P

You mean we had about 250 sales in 2016? O_o

But we are in need of some older games, but those keep getting delayed :/

It's not just the lack of pressure.. it's the most fair sale type, considering that there are people who have jobs to do in an environment where they cannot stare at a web page (maybe not even access the internet at all).

wanderer_27: Here's GOG question:

The EA titles on sale (Crysis etc.) are there XP points for those as well, or are they not part of this sale?
avatar
JMich: From what I know, all titles should give you XP, whether they are discounted or not. But the XP gain is shown in the checkout screen, so you can always take a look without buying them.
Thanks, you do get XP for them.

For all the others you can see XP by hovering your Mouse over them, but not on the EA stuff, that's why I was wondering about it.

Geralt_of_Rivia: HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO REDEEM MY FREE GAME?
The free game codes will expire on December 13, 9:59 AM UTC.
avatar
Cavenagh: Thanks for that.

All the best
The key for Little Big Adventure 2 doesn't expire, though - I assume the FAQ are only referring to the three games that you can unlock via xp. IIRC it was the same in some previous sale (at least I still have a code for SS2 lying around that I think I got during the last or next-to-last sale).
If you pick up only game game from Day One, I gotta say that Divine Divinity for less than a buck is a deal all-but-impossible to ignore. Many hours of good gameplay in that title.
Actually Starpoint Gemini 2 was pulled from the last big sale (with the same conditions) after 2 days on the request of the publisher - I know because I was on holiday, and wanted to buy after I'd returned. Instead, I read a message about this in the sale thread...
So I'd recommend to those interested in that or Dark Fall 3 to buy promptly, just in case they change their mind again before the sale is over!
Steamworld Dig on sale yet again... Steamworld Heist still missing in the catalog. :(
The Fall Sale is back! :)

How is that Rebel Galaxy game?
Looks like it'll be a monstrous sale indeed, hope everybody has fun!

On a side note, it'd be nice if TW3 did show as owned...
Why is Chaos Gate never on sale =\
The XP thing MUST be a permanent feature on GOG, and not only a SALE feature.

abr_alex: Witcher 3 expansion pass is 999 Rubles and Witcher 3 GOTY is 899 Rubles. Can you make expansion pass price more reasonable so that I don't have to buy another copy of Witcher 3 base game? Preordered Witcher 3 one year before release, feel ripped off :(
It does seem a bit weird that the expansion pass isn't discounted at all...? The individual expansions are discounted, though, and slightly cheaper than the GOTY - so I guess you could go for that?
