There's a really frustrating problem. I'm playing The Ward and I need to get a maintenance robot to follow a route through the air ducts, because I've put my tracking necklace on it and I want to use it as a distraction for the guards, but I have to tell it to follow the route, and it doesn't have routes 102 or 103 (I think the way I want to send it is route 103). So I can connect with the robot using a thing called a memorizer (I don't know why it's called that), but when I try to transmit or receive any data, the stupid robot has it all corrupted somehow! Does anyone know what to do?

Get the broom, use that to pluck the pheasant. With the copulate material use that to lubricate the robot through the right passage above the guards. Once it's scored, then reduce your attacking potential to a slight midfield orientated holding pattern until such time as the corruption passes.
Hope I got all the information you need.
Well I'll give it a try if I can find a broom of a pheasant or any of that garbage, but if you don't mind, I'm not going to mark it as a solution just yet, because I'm a bit skeptical, and I want to see what someone else might have to say which could be more likely to even be possible.

Yes, its possible that with our diverse user base someone may have the gift of divining which game it is your talking about, and thus give us a starting breadcrumb on the path to enlightenment :op

HeresMyAccount: I'm playing The Ward
?
This game?

No not that game. Sorry, I didn't know it would be confusing. I'm talking about an adventure game called "The Ward". It was developed by Fragile Bits in 2001, about a guy who's stranded on a space ship or space station or something like that. It's this game:

Anyway, they don't even seem to have it at GOG (I've been playing it on CD), which is why I put it in the general discussion section rather than the section for the specific game, but I just thought that if anyone would know how to solve my problem then it would probably be someone here.

EDIT: By the way, the game is fun and innovative, but it's tough, and really frustrating right now!

Haven't played the game, but that seems to be a walkthrough for it:
http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcWw/ward.html
I checked a couple walkthroughs and did what they said, but it didn't work. I'll check this one though.
Yes, that was the first one that I had checked and it didn't solve my problem!
Will this help?

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/453489-the-ward/faqs/10629
I think that may actually be the same tutorial pasted onto a different website, because I see a lot of the same language, but I'll check it out when I get a chance (probably tomorrow) just to make sure.
There's a guy on Youtube who seems to have done a let's play of that game:

Maybe that helps.
Oh, sorry, I didn't even see your post, but yeah that probably would have helped. Anyway, I checked the walkthrough and it turned out that I was using the transmit button in a slightly wrong way, because it's really confusing and unintuitive, but now it works! Thanks!
Glad I could help. :)
