Thank you. Indeed it helps.

1) The first one on your list is Xenonauts 2 Demo, which is not (yet?) available on GOG and was therefore unidentified. I told MaGog to ignore this ID from now on (until the demo is available for all).

2) For the other eleven, could you please check the following links (while logged in to GOG) and tell me what you see. If it's some text beginning with {"title":"Something Something Something", please copy paste the "Something Something Something" here. If it's empty or inaccessible (often redirecting you to the home page), please let me know:

It's available for all, just not indexed. The description on the product page still calls it pre-alpha, it requires Galaxy, and it's only temporary (it will be pulled from everyone's library when the game is more developed and becomes a paid In Dev title), so the devs didn't even publicize it beyond their own forum till a month or two ago.
Unless you meant that the requirement of Galaxy for the early demo = not available to all. :)

Thanks for letting me know. I don't follow GOG too closely anymore, so wasn't aware of this (perhaps I missed some news item or forum thread). I depend on MaGog to inform me of new items and she only knows about what's in the catalogue.

Still, I had a talk with MaGog just now and she feels that a Galaxy-only demo (or game) is not something she considers worthy of her monitoring, and I can only admire her for her principles.

{"title":"The Sexy Brutale" <snip>

all other links from 2nd to 11th: GOG homepage

hope it helps

what are those games ? i'm puzzled
The first link is apparently a different ID that GOG uses for The Sexy Brutale (different from the ID it uses in the catalogue). This might be the ID GOG will switch to when the game releases, or not. Anyhow, I told MaGog about this and from now on she will be able to identify this ID as The Sexy Brutale.

The other ten are in all likelihood obsolete IDs that GOG has abandoned and replaced with new ones over the years. Except that GOG does not bother to remove the old IDs from one's library list, even though they are no longer attached to any actual game. These can be safely ignored as the same games (whatever they are) were already identified by MaGog via their newer ID. I told MaGog to ignore these IDs from now on.

Thanks for your help.

Is there a way to filter out titles removed from current catalogue? "Title -> Is not listed in GOG catalogue -> False" doesn't help - you still get removed games in results.

Thanks!

P.S. Right now "Is not listed in GOG catalogue -> True" returns only one game: https://www.gog.com/game/deus_ex_revision
Maybe this filter can be upgraded to filter out or in removed games? We have a bunch of such items on GOG now :-)

At the top, there's the "Scope" section. Just uncheck "Removed Games".

You will probably also want to change the "Scope Algorithm" option (at the bottom) from "Greedy" to "Restrained". Otherwise, if an item belongs to two scopes (e.g. Removed and DLC) and one is checked (e.g. DLC) and one is not (e.g. Removed), MaGog will still display it.

Thanks a lot for info! MaGog rocks! :-)
What filter "Title -> Is not listed in GOG catalogue" is for?

This filter is for items that are available on GOG, but that GOG decided not to list in the catalogue, so they will be practically impossible to find once the news item about them disappear from the front page. Currently there is one such item: "Deus Ex Revision".
hi,

first for your hard work.

then i've been playing with your search engine json output to build small scripts to help me manage some local things.

Am i right to assume that the downloadable files data is not present in your json output ?

With the exact same search, simply changing output from "html" to "json", i can see the files info on the html page but not on the json output.

thx for letting me know if i missed something.

You are right.

Back in January 2015, I added the following comment to the search engine backend script:
"too lazy to add downloadables and all_files JSON support; let's see if anyone notices".

Well, it seems like it took 27 months for someone to notice. Let me know if you need it and I will add it.

okay well i did my part then.

but no i don't really need it, and as i will probably be using that script for quite a long time, i'll be monitoring your changes and use the data, if it ever gets added.

thx
