Have you heard of the new restaurant they opened downtown? They say it sells tasty southern food.

I would love to go there but I need to stay here and post votecount:

RWarehall3 bler, Sage, trentonlf
trentonlf3flubbucket, Rwarehall, yoglsoth

not voting – 2 - agentcarr, CSPVG

With 8 alive it takes 5 to lynch.

RWarehall and trentonlf are closest to lynch with 3 votes at L-2.
Trent: Would you, at this stage, be any more amenable to talking about your flavour or role? If you have and I've missed it, would you be so kind as to direct me towards the post in which you did so?
Morning meeting starts 30 min later than I thought.

I'd actually like RW to fully explain his role and flavor as well. If he does that, I'll lay my remaining card on the table.

This town is awesome. I love it, the people, and its services. That is why I opened a tavern, that way I never have to miss any events going on. I will do anything to stop the town or the people in it from being hurt, all I want is to see all the naughty people gone.
At risk of diverting the conversation,

Trent, I'm curious what your PM says in terms of both 'win' condition, and 'loss' condition.

I'd like to hear that from RW as well.

It says absolutely nothing about a loss condition. I win when all threats to town are destroyed.

agentcarr16: @Sage What do you mean, “What flavour do I have?” I posted my PM flavour a little while ago and the rest of my PM deals with the information that I have.

I'm also interested that we haven't seen any other players flip or claim 'Property Owner'. Is there a power role lurking somewhere that interacts with 'Property Owners', or does it function like Masons of some kind and we haven't killed the other one?
I am sorry - you are correct you posted it and I quoted it below. Which leads me to a question for everyone.

agentcarr16: I arrived in town recently, on a business deal, and I stayed because I liked the town. It's not the big city, but it's mostly nice people.
My PM states that there is a lot of bad in the town and I know it but still like my town anyway. Your PM says mostly nice people here. -- I am thinking we are a town of not so nice people and that we do not much like people moving into our town as much as we hate people moving away.

Does anyone else have the people or town being referred to as nice / good / anything positive?

*real life - I will be on and off all day with some RL stuff that needs to be handled but I will be on tonight if I can not get back earlier*

bler144: Forget the redirection theory. The core issue is why target Cristi with a role-block if you were really trying to 'protect her' as you so indicate. What precisely about your role description would indicate that functionality? And why protect Cristi at all?
I would like to know this as well. and I agree more information on his role and flavor.

Mine does not speak to whether they are good or bad, but it's an interesting observation.

I will say that I think at this point town has the upper hand if one assumes current m=2, which I do. I do think lynching Trent is still a bad tactical move anyway, not because I necessarily believe he's telling the truth, but because of what logically follows if he is telling truth. And if he's telling the truth and m=3 I think scum win if we lynch him. Which isn't necessarily true with other options on the table.

But before I say more I'd like to know:

#1) RW full role/flavor claim. Also statement on win/loss conditions. And Sage's question about 'what are townies like.'

#2) I'm curious if flub would at least confirm he knows something he has not yet shared. Doesn't even have to say what it is. Note that I don't necessarily think him hiding something is suspicious, i'm just wondering if he's held something back.

#3) Agentcarr stated he 'knows something' despite being vanilla. I understand wanting to hold some cards back, but given what others have disclosed, I think you need to bring something more to the table. Even if not precisely what you know, maybe how you know it, or something.
@Sage103082 - ...the nice people of this town are no concern of mine (to paraphrase). My focus is ridding the town of evil.
I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas morning....only 10 minutes away. GYAH!!!!!!!!!!1!!

I have held nothing back. JMich was my only friend and would make peace with the town when I was rude or sullen (again to paraphrase).

Now that he's gone I'm friendless/vulnerable to NK. The rest is as I've stated.
Every time I want to come back in here and contribute, I am feeling overwhelmed and aggravated.

I'm forced into blindly following the Serial Killer, or blindly following bler, who has "evidence" on RW but won't say what it is.

The more I think about it, the more I hate everything.

Right now my vote is on Trent - and his day 3 behavior and role reveal make it hard to move - but If I do that, then I am following the Serial Killer myself. It's pretty clear this game was designed, intentionally, from the ground up, to lead directly to Serial Killer victory. There's no other conclusion to draw. And guess who has been saying for a long time how badly he wants to win as a SK? That it's the only trophy not in his case? This all was done on purpose, and it stinks.

Assuming it's true, I actually think that helps me sort out a theory of what's going on here (which I have admittedly spent too many hours on). I'd thought Vitek was nuts for a while, but now I think he might have put together a quite clever design - the game is unbalanced, but not in the way one would tend to think.

I don't know if it's kosher (Vitek?) but I'm almost confident (ahem, cocky) to lay a wager on exactly what turns up. I confess, Yog's claims are still the piece I'm not what sure to make of. Other people can comment better than I probably, but it does give me pause that he would go all the way to claim perfidy on Vitek's part as part of a bluff. That would seem beyond the pale to me so I do want to believe it, but then, I'm new here so maybe raging at the mod is the way to go down.

I'm also fairly confident CSP is telling truth. I've thought it through - that's not whatever the opposite of OMGUS is. Lying about his role would be risky, esp. for a player who was not already on the hotseat (as yog/rw both were when they claimed). Whether trent's claim was wise or not, he was also not on the hotseat when he claimed.

If CSP is lying about his alignment the far better play would have just been to cast shade on me, not to back me up.

I'm happy to reveal everything I know in detail, and what I think this game is, once RW comes fully to the table.

Stupid airport wifi. Connection keeps dropping - oh great lord Gogbear, have mercy! And man, I have to learn that <snip> trick.

Yes, I will lay out everything I have done in my investigations in detail as soon as RW comes to the table and we can discuss calmly how the pieces fit, and everyone can be their own judge.

That said, it's not an open-ended invitation, esp. given how long the request has already been out there, and that his last post was 24+ hours ago. He's had a lot of time if he's trying to figure out how to reveal without revealing.

As a side note, while flub has no particular reason to trust me, and I'm not going to ask him to vote FOR anyone right now, I would ask that he unvote Trent, at least for now. If you want to re-vote him after all the pieces are on the table, or even fry him tonight, by all means, be my guest.
