Just noticed the sudden appearence of Maffia 2 -DE in my library?

Never gave those games much time or thought back in the day, they seemed like poor console games trying to imitate PC life but now after all these years this release does got me quite curious. I really don't feel like freeing up space or making time for a 50GB download so my question to you is?

Is this game worthwile as a DE ?
It's a weird coincidence that there's been two threads about these games in the week and both have a spelling error in the title.

I guess this is the confirmation that GOG is getting them, unless this thread is about the Steam versions.

must have missed those, i did not even realize the game is not available on GoG.... one of the drawbacks of using Galaxy!

Still, this is a pure gameplay wise question... pref answered by someone who took a look at the 2d game, definitive edition

Well, if this is about the Steam release then

A video showing side by side comparisons of the graphical changes.

well.... oke this does seem like a game i would like to try... the new sound effects do leave me conflicted, maybe i'll wait to see what either modders or patches will do before playing
The textures are obviously better and the ambient occlusion is super nice, but they did change the mood a good bit in a lot of scenes and the eyes are weird. It's a mixed bag.
