January 27:
It's been a long weekend for Star Wars™ fans among us. Today marks the return of Lucasfilm on GOG.com: WAVE II, with the final batch of three Star Wars™ titles:

We couldn't be happier with the series of amazing titles we added to our catalog this week, and we're proud to have teamed up with ©Disney Interactive to finally restore six iconic Star Wars™ games back into the hands of gamers exclusively on GOG.com.

January 22:

January 20:
A long time ago in a galaxy near you, ©Disney Interactive and GOG.com teamed up to bring you the holy grail of classic gaming: six Lucasfilm cult-classics were added to our DRM-free catalog, including three titles which saw their digital premiere on GOG.com. We also made a promise to bring you many more cult-classics in the future and, believe us, we did not forget.

Today, with great pride and joy, we're excited to announce Wave II of Lucasfilm games on GOG.com! Starting right now, six new Star Wars™ classics are available in our DRM-free Lucasfilm/Disney catalog. This includes three amazing titles available, for the first time in digital distribution, exclusively on GOG.com:
Star Wars™: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!
Star Wars™: X-Wing Alliance™ - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!
Star Wars™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!

Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II
Star Wars™: Dark Forces
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II: The Sith Lords™

Just in case you missed your chance last time, you can grab three more Lucasfilm classics for the same 20% discount, until Friday, January 30, at 1:59 PM GMT!
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™
Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™
The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition

Our Lucasfilm/Disney is made that much more impressive today thanks to our team-up with ©Disney Interactive. The 6 new Star Wars™ releases, which include 3 digital premieres exclusively on GOG.com, are barely the beginning. We're not saying more right now, but we know the wait will be worth it for six great reasons - keep watching the front page and stay tuned for more exciting Lucasfilm titles releasing on GOG.com when the timer strikes zero!

Austrobogulator: These aren't the games I'm looking for.
For me they are. But not sure about Starfighter. Never heard of this game.
oh well. I didn't have my hopes too high so disappointment didn't burn me too much. No Jedi Academy; instead, an older, more worn iteration appears.

Grargar: At least, Dark Forces 2 contains the expansion and costs only $6.
Ah yes, I appreciate GOG and Disney interactive for selling the classic games at the standard flat price here.
I am confused with the latest release announcement. Are we to expect more LucasArts games? Disney Interactive games?
Aaand bought.

Now that's kind of disappointing, I was hoping for another countdown. I guess we'll have to wait months to get more.
I'm confused? Where is the digital premier?

??? None of these three games are new to digital distribution.

Yeah that has me confused as well...
Oh Come On!
:)
Maybe I'll just install Steam, at least they have The Dig.

But No, must have Patience! Anger leads to Dark Side.
Zak is coming, Young Padawan, just wait.....

Well THAT was disappointing. So, what, we have to wait until Double Fine remakes Zak McKraken before we can have it?
As I watched that ticker count down I really thought it was a case of 'Gog is saving the best for last! This is going to be amazing! Lots of hours of childhood nostalgia coming my way!'

What could could the next ones be?

If they released Rogue Squadron would they release Shadows of the Empire or Battle for Naboo?

If they released Rebellion and Empire at War would they release Force Commander?

Or even go completely the other way and release Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

Or what I've really been craving ... Monkey Island 3 & 4 so now an avid fan can play a complete saga?

Alas - just the games that are already featured on Steam.

Sorry Gog! I love what you and Disney have done but me personally you've ended a bit flat.

If there are more coming our way please tell us!!!

PS. Ever thought about the Star Trek Games?
