Jimmer1: Fan-damn-tastic! Way to go GOG!
Don't you mean "way to GOG"? :D
I love you GOG.

X-Wing and Tie Fighter were favorites since I was a kid, but I never pulled the trigger on the other flight sims because they were just too expensive. Finally that has changed.

Never played Galactic Battlegrounds either. Its like Christmas.

zaine-h: Thank you for the detailed rundown of the differences!
Hope it helps (assuming you haven't already gone and impulse-bought all the Star Wars titles regardless)! :)
Dark Forces. Finally!

I hope GOG will bring older games like Rebel Assault 1-2, too!

Pity no DF for Mac. Strange, only Windows and Linux, I thought it runs in Boxer, demo did. Hope it will be added later.

30 more hours. It's too far!
Instabought Dark Forces and both KOTOR's (previous went onto the wishlist - but I could not hold out any longer :)
So I guess Dark Forces works better from GoG than from Steam? I played the Steam version and it was pretty buggy
Damn it's kinda bad luck and bad timing. Went for a crazy drinking spree not long ago thinking Gog's not gonna have anything for me in the near future, spent most of my extra cash. Got Dark forces at least :)
This actually.

As my link indicates, it's not technical issues in this case.

I added all Disney games into my cart. Dang, about 80€... but it is 12 famous games, some of which I really want. Not that interested into Sam & Max and Indiana Jones though, already played them back in the 90s and never got an urge to replay them, but I guess these are talkie versions that I didn't have.

I'll have to think about it a bit more, but most probably I will break down and buy them all anyway. I can buy less food in the coming two weeks, that should cover that expenses! Doing my grocery shopping usually takes around 50-70€ a pop anyway.

Not that I am running out of money, but I should save up for our trip to Thailand, and maybe speed up the repayments of my mortgage as well (I feel the current 25 year repayment plan is too long, gah... then again I know those crazy Swedes have mortgage repayment plans of 100-500 years or something like that, ie. apparently they are never going to repay them... and the Swedish banks are fine with that?).

Awww phuck it...

"Here goes nothing!"

12 more games into my GOG account. (EDIT: Actually 14 apparently, as X-Wing and Tie Fighter games are listed twice.)

Ophelium: Does that mean I start inviting people over for cuddles and cake?

I know some people are sorely disappointed at what was released. Personally, I'm just going to pick up KOTOR II out of this lot. I also know it's highly unlikely that I'll ever see the game I really want on here (Transylvania). But still I'm happy we get something good instead of RPGMaker games or the Gauntlet remake.
:P
I'm a joker, I know. Buddhist random quotes always amuse me :D
They're a good way to cool down the pace..

Anyways, I thought the Gauntlet remake was pretty awesome. It isn't?!

And about the Transylvania series here on GOG, well, gotta have faith, man. This kinda obscure series (right?) caught my attention once, though I didn't play it at the time. But it seems pretty awesome. Gotta see that in motion. And I just voted for it! :)

edit: just saw that these games were re-released for the iOS. They look like "The Hugo Trilogy" games, which I happen to like a lot.
Why do you say they'll never appear here?! I'm curious.
