maxleod: He said 10 years ago, maybe he doesn't have the CD anymore.
BreOl72: Well, to be more precise - the OP said "while i was digging around old pc chip/bug CD's i found this one platformer game".
So, I think, I may not be completely wrong in my assumption that he has the CDs at hand right now.
Crimorbid: Some CD's dont read anymore not from damage but im guessing new OS just doesnt support them anymore
BreOl72: Names not printed on the CDs
(they always were printed on German Games Mag's CDs)?
Is there maybe a site online, where they list the games, demos, etc. that were on the magazine's CDs?
(I found some old game's names that way in the past) I don't know the Bug magazine, but it seems as if they printed the program's names on their CDs:

Points in particular:
1) OP was checking out old magazine CDs
2) OP "found this one old platformer game" on one of these old CDs
3) OP asks for the name of the game that he apparently just found
4) OP claims now, (some of) the CDs can't be accessed properly, anymore (including the one he found the game on?)
None of the above makes any sense if taken together. *shrug*
point 2 wrong : if by found you mean now it wouldnt make sense to come here asking for help , it was over 10 years ago and i had hoped someone here ran into the same game
point 3 wrong: read point 2 wrong.....
point 4 wrong: Read your own reply "Shouldnt the name be mentioned on the cd" YES some are mentioned but most of these have more than whats written on the disc ergo my saying i cant access them due to software issues...
edit : another important detail while i DID check for this game i just hoped that IF i couldnt find it myself id find someone here who could find it like i did see on a older post
