I love hack n slash (and not )arpgs...but often or end too soon, or the story becomes boring or char development feels too slow and artificially repetitive.

i.e. fate: great easy game, with no story at all...but it becomes just increasing numbers brainless.
grim dawn: right story lenghth, interesting gameplay...but too complicated and insanely slow from 2nd playthrough.
shadow of mordor: great story and action...but zero replay value...

is there any easy pve action/rpg/any combat/strategy game with short, highly replayable matches/campaigns?

can't really think about any arpg's that fit.... they are all bound by the restrictions of narrative and game mechanics. However, if you want games with high replayability I would suggest the Creeper World games and Tower of Guns.

Other than that, maybe just look into rogue-like games in general?
high rated
"My thread that gets deleted" is highly replayable.

On a serious note: Master of Magic, Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri (and I imagine Civilisation). From RPGs, Baldur's Gate and Icwewind Dale are the two I replayed most.
X-COM. Not he campaign, but individual battles.
Master of Orion on small maps.
Diablo.
Mount and Blade might be what you are looking for. There's not really much or anything at all in the line of a story, but it's a highly replayable game, with individual battles being fairly short.

edit : Or M&B:Warband rather. Not much point imo to choose the first over it, except perhaps for a few mods.

why should mods delete my post? it's any infringement? O.o

about diablo s: long time committment on a char, with irreversible choices that matter and might cause...rolling another one.

i.e. plague inc is a great game to me.
any quick pve mission based action game/ strategy/ management/ any genre playable in quick sessions..without long term aims but high randomic replayability
even coop
god knows when Cube World will be released, if ever... Games like this might fit, though?
DeathTrap Dungeon maybe?

SuperHot

Serious sam games maybe?

Hmmm... pulling up a blank.
yeah. seem all valid choices ;) ty
one punch-something is another I found

Sorry, I didn't mean that. There is a "game" going on between a guy whose thread gets deleted by users taking advantage of GOG's spam prevention system, so he made a script to keep recreating that thread. I believe the score is 117-117 at the moment. You can find it on the front page.
Just my bad joke.

Wait, you're talking about a game? What's the full name?

Yeah, that looks fun especially for your criteria. But that's one-something punch, one punch-something reminds me of something else altogether. (;
Good grinding games with high degree of randomness and varied thinking requirements:

1) accent on fighting with some strategy
- Space Pirates and Zombies, especially with my mod (not advertising, as vanilla game limits build abilities).

2) less fighting, more thinking:
- Faster Than Light (FTL)
- Jagged Alliance 2 with 1.13 mod with AMINAS or Wildfire mappacks (static maps, but huge size and huge amount of random element)
- "Heroes of might and magic" series (some versions allow generation of random maps)
- Majesty and Dungeon Keeper series

3) with survival accent:
- Don't Starve series
- Project Zomboid, preferably with "Hydrocraft" and "Build with dowels" mods (static map, but huge with a high random events)
