I remember I played a demo with a cyberpunk aestheic a couple months ago, but I can't remember its name. It may have been from GOG, but I know it wasn't related to Cyberpunk 2077. I remember it was a third-person shooter and it had a team of 2 people. You played as one character and the other followed you/gave you instructions.

The interface had a neon effect and allowed hacking. The environment was very Blade Runner-like with tall, neon skyscrapers and vehicles flying in the air. The game had various checkpoints and the demo had one or 2 levels in it.

Dex? Or maybe Seven: The Days Long Gone?

I know it wasn't Dex since that is a 2D game. I'm looking at the screenshots of Seven: The Days Long Gone, but it doesn't look like it's in TPP, it looks almost isometric. Do you know of any other recent cyberpunk games that were TPP?

Not any on GOG that got a demo. Have you looked at Outcast, but thats an old one.

It's not Outcast, but that game was pretty good too.

I'm trying to remember more about the demo. I know it was in the third-person perspective, and the character was infiltrating a building or base of some kind. I also remember there was a lot of hacking in the game.

The only other thing I can think of was ECHO. Sci-fi third person shooter on a haunted space ship. Hasn't got a demo now but it may have got removed.

I've never played that ECHO game before. Do you know if it has a DRM-free demo to try?

Haven't a clue about a demo, all the other games I can think of on GOG are isometric shooters, Ruinner, Bombshell, Satellite Reign, Neon Chrome, JYDGE or more RPG than shooter System Shock remake, Anachronox.

Recently decided to try some of the EpicGames free games, and RUINER somewhat closely matches what you describe. Although it's more twinstick shooter and your sidekick only messages you. I only played half an hour and the hyper violence made me give up on it, so i couldn't say if that would have been what you were meaning.

If it wasn't a pair or 3D, i'd say Transistor might come close to your description, or Fract OSC, or Ghost 1.0.

Do you know if Ruiner has DRM-free demo? I don't think I've played that one before.

But I have already played Transistor and Fract OSC. Those were good games!

Looking and not sure.

Although it's free on EpicGames right now...
Could it have been Syndicate? I don't know why I keep thinking about it, even though I know it's a fps, I just had to get it out of my head when I'm thinking about cyberpunk...

The official page says nothing about a demo. The "story" part of the page is pretty cool though, I just found out. http://ruinergame.com/
Sounds to me like Binary Domain? If that's not it, maybe Project Eden?
Crying suns? It's not TTP, but.... maybe worth to suggest?
