If the locks look different to in the guides, it's usually a sign that you haven't yet gone to see the wizard. If you're having trouble finding the wizard, I suggest this thread: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/wheres_the_wizard
Personally, I never found a lock to pick while playing General Discussion, and I've been playing it for years. :P

Jokes aside, what game are you talking about? If you tell, maybe people around here can help you more effectively.

OK sorry I thought I was addressing GOG deliverance game players only, thanks for replying Falci, there is a lot of lockpicking in this game and I cannot progress without it so have you played this game and can you help me

Oh, I'm sorry, I don't own nor have I played the game. :(

But you can check the Kingdom Come: Deliverance sub forum, maybe people over there will be more familiar with the matter.

Ps.: from the changelog thread, seems like they did change the lockpicking:

For a moment I thought Donald locked himself out.

Hi, you probably want the forum relevant to your game. https://www.gog.com/forum -> search the game name (or series name) in the bottom left search bar
Anyone know if Kingdom Come: Deliverance is, by any chance, one of the many titles whose link from the game card in the library to the forums points here?
You need to ask in here:

Could be, but my money is on the OP using Galaxy. After all, they seem to be playing "GOG Deliverance" :P
Stop trying to lock picking your version of the game, piracy is bad.
Lockpicking in Oblivion was pretty damn annoying, you're right. Luckily you eventually get so many picks it doesn't matter, and later Bethesda games improved the lockpicking a lot...

Oh wait, Kingdom Come. Whoops! ;)
I don't know about lock picking, but nose picking is easy enough. Any similarities?
