March is tax month in Russia. The rouble is going to crash so hard in April.

Isn't GOG booking their income (at least for Euro) in Cyprus? Only the share of each sale that has to be passed on to the distributor of a game might be paid in USD and thus affected by exchange rain tes. GOG's share on the other hand is and was in EUR and therefore not affected by EUR/USD rates. To copy changes in USD-EUR rates 100% to game prices is a hidden rise in prices.

How about lowering regional prices, now that you increased your EUR income?

Well, this makes it a round 1/3 increase in prices for € since the 1st of October. Yay...

These are the times when one feels good about having a huge backlog to attend to.

GOG/CD Projekt are in Poland which does not use the Euro BTW, they have their own currency. Aside from that though they most likely do not convert every form of received money into Zlotys nor Euro, but most likely either into USD or keep it as they receive it to some degree or another.

If this keeps going soon $1 will equal 1€. And then GOG will mark 'Get rid of regional pricing' wish as completed... or publishers will decide that one dollar does not equal one euro after all :)

Damn the Euro and the deprecation. Price increases all the time and this will go on at least till the end of 2016 if not longer as far as EU central bank prognosis goes (money printing till end of 2016). Witcher price increase in last couple of months by 6€ already (15% price increase already).

Regardless, the premise is ridiculous. Currency rates vary between countries around the world beyond anything GOG personally has any control over. To paint that in a way that tries to suggest that they have some evil benefit from it is just misdirected at best.
