Was just watching a Top 15 video all about the " Top 15 Scariest Video Game Glitches" and realised hust how easily games can morph into the stuff of nightmars, haha. What glitches have you experienced? and could you link a video of it if possible? :P Would love to make a list :3
Don't need a picture for mine as it's called a blackout.
Some glitches i've recently experienced:
Chopped up/garbled graphics in Blood(when using the wrong resolutions....could be somewhat scary to some as the sounds blood makes are u nsettling enough while the screen is NOT messed up)

A blank screen bug when playing Dark Forces 2 in 3d acceleration mode(nothing seems to fix it, so it's more annoying than scary)

A black screen while underwater in NOLF(scary due to worrying about running out of air while underwater due to not being able to bloody see what i'm doing in those parts. *Fixed this one with dgVoodoo wrapper files*)
TES: Arena. Here (attached) is the result of trying to buy a spell after buying out the magical items in the Mage's Guild.

Also (not attached): In first generation Pokemon (red/blue/yellow), when playing around with glitches, you can glitch the music, and some of it can sound rather creepy or scary. Some of it sort of works as music, but not all of it.

End of Shadow Warrior 2013.
Camera pans away from Wang's first person, it turns out in spite having a very foul mouth he has no head. Just a pair of eyes floating above an empty neck.

Also, awesome find bro.
Awesome video :D

Makes me wonder what life would be like if the entire world was full of glitches...probably not good xD

Interesting, I had that too, but couldn't find any information about anyone else having the problem, so assumed it was just a one time glitch for me.
I can't think of the specific games, but I've certainly had the creepy as hell "let's not load all the texturers of someone's head and just show a desiccated frame display and hideous disembodied glowing eyes" glitch.

Also, not a glitch but still scary as hell - the first (or maybe it was the second?) Batman Arkham game when you encounter the Mad Hatter (or was it Scarecrow?). Yeah, awesome scene - especially as the game was released right around the time the lousy fan on the 360 was causing units to melt like hotcakes. Red ring of death trolling by Rocksteady for sure ;)
There was an Later Tomb Raider glitch (Angel of Darkness I think) where the Z order was broken and Lara's head got rendered "inside out", the eyeballs where outside the skull.
When playing a CD based game, I found loads to be quite terrifying, as I am worried that the game won't successfully load. (I actually had this happen in Final Fantasy 7 PC version, which is quite frustrating because the game only lets you save at save points, and the game has an excessive amount of FMVs.)
Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor had a bug that would erase your Windows folder and make your hard disk unbootable when you uninstalled the game.

I know that's not quite what you were talking about, but I'd say it genuinely qualifies as a terrifying glitch.

It's not just games that have glitches like this. Consider the following old Debian bug report (from 2002):
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=155873;msg=2

(It's worth noting that the package doesn't even exist anymore and hasn't since woody. Also, the bug appears to have been fixed the same day it was reported.)
