Warhammer Skulls 2024 Digital goodie Bag as part of Skulls event from the 23rd till 30th of May 2024.
For some reason they put up this on the front page: https://www.gog.com/en/game/warhammer_40000_gladius_relics_of_war

I can't seem to claim it somehow (never had it before). Yet the front page says "Success!" like I claimed it. Never pressed the button. The only thing I claimed yesterday was the yearly goodie pack.

Also, unlike in the past, if you forced it in your cart, there's a price tag on it.

I am very, very sure. Used the search bar sure. Checked the receipts sure. I have not ever seen that promotion before, and I don't get the games through that. I'm just saying that literally I don't have the game and somehow the home page is telling me it was claimed before I ever had to press the button, which I suspect is a bug given the earlier promotion appeared - or, this was not supposed to be promoted yet and it's evident when you add it to the cart, it's not free. The only thing I claimed (and that is confirmed) is the goodies from the last 12 hours and this did not appear. FWIW, I got the game years ago on other platforms. I've just never had it through GOG, let alone this time.

EDIT: I found someone dropped a code and used that instead so FWIW I got it now. Shouldn't have had to do that, but OK.

A stranger dropping a code is mutually exclusive from this. It's as good as someone sending a gift. That can be done at any time. The conventional way as I indicated, is to claim it through the GOG home page, which is automatically added directly to the account. No code given, unless (usually) you're given a gift code to distribute if you already have that item, as I've had done incidentally over the years.

EDIT: Had a senior moment, and forgot there was a claim address to manually add it, so now I have my own generated code. Still, they could've fixed the original problem.

It was only two days ago I received a Redeem email for that game and a lot of DLCs for it.

The game was just over $2 AUD, and I nearly bought it. Except I already have it for free at Epic and Steam, and I did not like the DLC prices, even with the extra 50 cents or so off each, compared to their current sale prices.

Did all the Review complaints about the Goodie Bag tip GOG's hand I wonder.

There is something wrong, the game is marked already even though i didn't click the giveaway banner and now i can't get the game. It says it will appear in my library soon but on the home page i didn't click it only in it's store.
Also it says it's 90% off so glitched in the game page

I literally just mentioned that.

I was initially confused the other day when someone mentioned an email. At the time, that was only the Goodies. The main complaint was that it was stuffed with coupons, even though it came with wallpapers, advertising for the new game. It's different from last year's and the year before as it had more content and it came with a game.

I'm out of the loop with the emails, so maybe that's just part of the confusion. I thought it was odd they put up the goodies (which was admittedly barebones) without a game. I had already heard about the giveaway for this game on other platforms, so who knows if there was a miscommunication somewhere.

Epic and Steam gave it away last year, and it's free on both again this year, the only benefit here is that GoG is DRM-Free and you don't need the respective launchers to play.'

I think the people mentioning it being a freebie before are confusing GoG with Epic or Steam.

Yep, I have it at all three stores now, the preferred copy being the one here.

According to the Steam page that's a free prologue which got released earlier this month. Seems to be a standalone chapter.

Anyway, those of us who have Prime will be able to claim The Lullaby of Life (GOG) starting tomorrow as a bonus May title.

The June lineup only goes up to the 13th so far but we're getting GOG games on both weeks.
