To be fair, almost all "developer self sell" sites required hand made discoveries. Manual work.
There is no "independent developers' self sell sites ensemble".
You have to dig each and every one independently.
And since sources such as PCGW are pretty unreliable in regards to more exotic digital distribution platforms it's only natural people often just don't know something is sold somewhere.
I know examples of games that can be bought on obscure hidden japanese stores.
But things of this caliber are usually hard to find.
So don't act all "I'm suprised this wasn't discovered yet".
Such lists depend on manual community work and reports.
There is no universal go to research place for such info.

My entire point is that since each and every "self sell" developer-site-based thing is independent from any kind of "store" then all these are hidden.
To fill up the list you would have to
1.Check each and every single game (EVERY GAME) for if it's developer has "self sell" site
2.Check ENTIRE INTERNET to find some obscure (for example super hidden japanese ones excluded from search or pushed so far that they are hard to filter out froma sea of sh*t called "insert-search-engine-name search results") store that may sell ANY game and then crosscheck IF it has ANY DRM-free games and if any then WHICH ONES exactly.

My point is, this is a chore, this requires ALL of the manual work.
So your report is welcome. This is one of the only ways to actually update the list.

Yes, this is sad news. I will buy Detention from them before they close, to help support Red Candle Games.

Grid Sage Games have their own DRM-Free purchase option for Cogmind (there used to be more available tiers when the game was still in alpha but they have been removed)

to answer my own question (since nobody else did) and to correct the original post:

- yes, Crytivo is DRM free. you get to choose whether you'd like your game as a DRM free download, OR if you'd like a steam key.

- this means you DO NOT get your game DRM free plus a steam key.

also fyi: every purchase gives you "Crytivo Coins" which you can use to lower the price of your next purchase.

I'm not that good at English either ... but no complaints about your post, seems fine to me.
the only thing that you could add is about the Coins, as a stand-out feature of the site, since both gog and humble gave up on the "buy a game and you get a bit of money"-system, but it's not really necessary. ^^
