Titan Quest Anniversary Edition now appears to have Galaxy achievements.

Tormented Souls also implemented achievements and received an update, but the update was rolled back so the achievements aren't functional just yet.

TheGeraltOfRivia: Space Hulk Deathwing Enhanced Edition has 7 fully broken achievements (nobody got them) and 3 more might be bugged only for me.
Hi, is it possible that they are simply very difficult to unlock? For example many 0.0% achievements seem to be only obtainable with multiplayer. And what exactly are the achievements that you can't unlock?

Thank you, the Titan Quest one is a great news, let's hope there are no bugs.

I knew about Tormented Souls, and it looks like it may soon be permanently removed from the list.

Yes, there are some multiplayer achievements. They can be obtain by reaching level 7 for each class in multiplayer match. I hosted a room, then played until level 7 and got achievement only for one class, but not for the others.
Other achievements is for singleplayer. For killing enemies in campaign, for not using portal during mission, for upgrading you character perks.
Here is the list:
1) Devotee (for complete upgrading the Devotee skills branch)
2) Commandant (for complete upgrading the Command branch)
3) Bravery! (for finishing a chapter in campaign without using a portal)
4) Epistolary (for reaching level 7 as Librarian in mp match)
5) Phoenix light (for reaching level 7 as Apothecary)
6) Chapter pillar (for Tactical)
7) Champion of the Lions (for Assault)
8) For the Chapter! (kill 666 enemies)
9) For Honour! (kill 10k enemies)

Speaking of achievements in Hyperdimension Neptunia U, it's definitely a GOG Galaxy bug.

Today I found that achievements work when the overlay is disabled.

If anyone has the same problem with achievements in Hyperdimension Neptunia U (and possibly other Idea Factory games), just disable overlay in GOG Galaxy settings.

That might work sometimes, but for me it doesn't work all the time for all Idea Factory games.

Just now I had more problems with the Achievements in Death End Re:quest 1. Previously I'd reported in this thread other examples of similar problems with the same game.

Well, since then, these things have happened:

1) I've beat the final boss of the Pain Area, which should unlock the "God Save the Queen" Achievement. But it did not unlock on my account.

A week later, I did it again, and the Achievement also did not unlock then, either.

That one is especially annoying to miss, because to (theoretically?!) earn it, you have to beat 75 very grindey, very bullet-spongey battles.

And the closest "save point" near the final boss of that Dungeon is way back behind 8 of those grindey battles, followed by the boss battle, all of which the player will have to repeat every time they re-try to pop the Achievement that fails to pop the first time, like it should have (meaning, it's a very annoying grind just to get the Achievement one-time, and even more so if you have to repeat the last 8 battles more than once due to a bug making the Achievement not work).

2) I completed the criteria to earn the "Thought You Were Finished, Huh?" Achievement (which is the choice to see "the normal ending"), but it failed to pop.

Then I re-loaded my saved game at the same point in the game and made the choice to see the "true ending," and it correctly popped both of the Achievements that it should have for "Clear Chapter 11" and "Defeat the Final boss."

3) Then I reloaded my saved game again from the same point, and made the choice to view the normal ending again, and this time the Achievement "Thought You Were Finished, Huh?" did pop.

So, based on my experiences of very inconsistent, sometimes-working, sometimes-not-working Achievements with both Death end re;Quest and Dragon Star Varnir, I'm going to assume that something is wrong with the way that the devs coded the Achievements for these games (and probably other Compile Heart games too).

But I could be wrong about that, since I'm just guessing, and I have no way to determine what is actually causing the problem. It's definitely not an internet connection problem on my end, though.

And I tried disabling the Galaxy overlay for some of the events which I've just described, and disabling it had no effect on making the Achievements always pop when they should.

I theorize that it's possible that for the other poster who said that worked for him with Hyperdimension Neptunia U...it's possible that Achievements started working for him with that game by coincidence after he disabled his Galaxy overlay, and he is concluding a causal relationship because of the order of events that occurred.

But I'm guessing about that too, since I have no way to verify that.

For someone who does have these problems, it's worth a try to disable Galaxy Overlay. Although even if that does 'work,' it still takes half the fun out of earning Achievements anyway IMO, since you can't see or hear them pop up on your screen if Overlay is disabled, even if they do get recorded as unlocked on your account.

I really wish a dev at GOG and/or Idea Factory would look into these issues of inconsistent Achievement functionality on Idea Factory games.

Does anyone here own Unto The End by any chance? If so, do you see achievements available for it? It's not in the master list and it doesn't appear to have been mentioned in the thread before.

According to the store page, the game has achievements. But when I load https://www.gog.com/u/<your username here>/game/1691765782 there are no achievements listed, as you can see from the screenshots. Since I don't own the game, I got the product ID from the store page source code; GOGDB lists the same one. Using that method I can see the achievements for many other games I don't own, so that shouldn't be the issue.

I contacted the developer and I could barely believe my eyes when I received a response within minutes. Furthermore, he says not only does the game have achievements on GOG, but he personally tested them. I'm saving his suggestion to contact GOG support as a last resort. My response time has been 5 weeks for the most part, and it's not likely to be shorter during the winter sale.

It definitely has the "bug" of "invisible" achievements. Can you send the developer this link and tell him to set them to "Production"? It should fix the problem and requires a single mouse click:

Yeah, based on your tests it's clear that something isn't implemented as it should be. In general, GOG's achievements seem pretty unstable for certain games, but no one has been able to identify a specific reason for this. It might be worth trying to contact Idea Factory and report these bugs:

Thanks I noticed them, I'll wait just a bit to make sure they work, then I'll do a general check on all recent games since I have a few more titles yet to be removed from the list.
