adamhm: Yes :)
Might be worth adding that the game requires the large address aware patch in order to be stable without crashing after some time. The tool can be found here https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556

The the latest Lutris software version you can log in with your gog account and play the GOG games you have bought. This kind of replace the need of an own Linux client from GOG.

While that is partially true, it doesn't address the issue that some games are not released here at all. An example of this is the game Heroes of Hammerwatch where (I quote) the dev said:

Sorry, their Galaxy system and SDK doesn't support Linux so in the end it seems like its not coming on GOG until we get that sorted
Personally I tried to reason with the devs of this game that some people may still buy the Linux version without the multiplayer, but they didn't wish to offer an inferior version.

I don't blame them. For every person that will happily buy the game with multiplayer stripped out, there's another person who won't buy it, and vocally complain about the dev selling an inferior product.

The problem is all on GOG, and not at all on the dev's.
Hey Folks, Noticed that LImbo on GOG only has support for Mac and MS Windows. Funny thing is, on HumbleBundle there is Linux and Android support. Can you get LInux support for LImbo working on GOG as well?

It could be a problem with a publisher/developer agreement.
From yesterday's AMA on the Resident Evil subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/residentevil/comments/1dsqsh6/comment/lba3sgn/

Maciej Golebiewski (VP Publishing at GoG):
"To be completely honest, GOG isn't doing much to proactively support Linux gamers at the moment. We have an affiliate deal with Heroic Game Launcher, an alternative open-source client for Epic, GOG, and Amazon Prime Games, but that's about it. You might say that Linux gamers are doing more for GOG than we do for them, considering some of them created the open-source GALAXY client "Minigalaxy". Ultimately, we'd love to provide a better experience for Linux gamers as soon as we can afford it without diverting resources from our mission of Making Games Last Forever. Even within that mission, there's still a lot we feel we could do better. It might not be the answer you were looking for, but it's an honest one."

Most people are aware and already knew this, but... there you have it, straight from the horse's mouth again (and to be referred to whenever another one of those "Why does GoG hate Linux so much" threads pops up again).

The horse's mouth is smelly, and I'm pretty sure it isn't located on the backside.

"As soon as we can afford?"

Just make some of the code readable and the builders will do the rest. Just host the code.
