I was reading about the different Linux distros to see what one suits me best and I noticed this on the Linux Mint website:

"Access more than 7,800 games with Steam. Install GOG to get even more."

This surprised me because I didn't think GOG had a Linux-compatible app yet. I was under the impression GOG Galaxy was Windows/Mac-only at the moment.

Am I wrong?

There's no official Galaxy for Linux. It's possible that it's referring to Lutris or something similar.

I think they just badly worded what they said, as GOG should not mean Galaxy. What they may have meant was - Install GOG games, which you can do without Galaxy.

As stated earlier Lutris is a community made client that handles installing GOG games with little hassle on Linux though there are other community projects such as Gamehub and MiniGalaxy as well.

You can also use WINE directly to install GOG Windows games as well.

There is no GOG on Linux, only ZUUL!

Agreed better wording is needed, but I'm glad to see it getting exposure.

... not to mention that Linux Mint needed a new website since like forever...
