So this article just dropped today about Linko.

I normally do not trust this particular journalist, but he claims to have a source inside GoG who confirmed this.
I really hope this isn't true and that he's just taking a break or hiatus. Either way, the lack of transparency and communication is disappointing. I don't like having to learn news like this from a 3rd party and also wonder about its accuracy and truth, and I also don't believe he deserved to be fired for something that could hardly be considered offensive and *wasn't* to the vast majority of the forum or other communities outside of the twitter activist community focusing on that hashtag, who dogpiled the person after making a joke that clearly wasn't intended to offend anyone, but I digress.
This really is a problem though. GoG could stand to communicate with its community a lot more than its been doing... this is really disappointing to see. Not just these exceptionally brutal disciplinary actions against a public, important member of the community, but not even relating it to the communities he handled... I expected more out of GoG.
GoG apologizes to the outrage crowd on the daily it seems like, yet it never apologizes to its own community, far more passionate than any outside people and yet many get treated like second-class citizens. We're not entitled to information
like this? No apologies when your *own* community actually gets offended? Threads just get locked and disappear on these topics?
I really hope this thread stays up and gets an answer to prove a point, because this really is upsetting.
