If "new release" is what was meant, I don't think they've ever released one here. It's been said before that the Japanese game companies are very very DRM-free averse to say the least, so I doubt we'll see that change with Squeenix or any others there any time soon sadly. ;o( If anyone can convince them to do so though it'd be GOG mind you.

GOG did after all fight a grueling multi-year battle against The Empire using all of their midichlorians on full fire and eventually landed Lucasarts games here so anything is possible. ;)

GOG has still not brought a new big-publisher game on launch day here. Till they succeed at doing so, count me a skeptic.

Born in '83 sir! :-) Although I didn't know them, I do listen to old records daily along with metal; mainly jazz, blues & 70's rock.

Square Enix has been making a lot of weird moves as of late... FF7 on the PS4, pushing FF-13 onto steam, huge 80% off deals... Pushing onto the mobile market yet trying to push $20 games there... Heavy DLC selling for FF-13-2

Games that really don't make sense for them to make. Having five million copies minimum for sales or considering a game as an utter failure...

Feels like they are desperate, yet still too full of themselves.

Alright watched the preview and i can only say 'huh? Butterfly Effect?'. Sounds like an interesting concept but feels like (with it's episodic nature) it's going to be a point & click, although i hope it's more like Blades of Time... But the story is probably going to be super linear.

It's point'n'click, quite similar to Telltale's games. And the story so far is very good and interesting. The first episode is on steam for only 4,99 so I'd recommend everyone to give it a shot.

Hmmm two things i don't enjoy. Point&click and Steam.. No unless it comes to GoG i won't be touching it. It already dabbling again with point&click with Cognition to see if i can stand the genre.

I played the demo of the first episode without having any idea of what to expect, and I loved it! I hope Square Enix publishes more games like this in the future.
