BKGaming: I just made an account, I'll update with the original post with a link. I made it public so I believe it is set up right? Let me know if you have any issues. I'm not use to using JSFiddle.

I also made a few changes...

tinyE: I have been told that after very serious consideration, GOG has decided to respectfully opt against BKGaming's suggestions and rather focus on a redesign which will make the site look more like this.

BKGaming: GOG not take our suggestions... I'm shocked (not really). :P
Hey, They take our suggestions!
They told me that rep would be gone in six months!

That was four years ago so I can only assume they are on a different calendar, on a different planet, which is cool.

I'm still waiting for that one thing too...

EDIT: I can't read.

Tauto: You must of been really bored.

BKGaming: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

morolf: Additional sorting options for reviews would be cool.
Apart from that, I don't see that much of a difference from the system as it is now tbh.
avatar
BKGaming: This was more about updating how it looks. A lot of the site has been updated but I felt the reviews are one part that could use some love. I did add sort options and the ability to edit / delete your review which would make reviews a lot more useful.

Ganni1987: I admit I don't really read the reviews much but I like that design.

BKGaming: Thanks. :)

OldOldGamer: would be cool.
It looks like they stopped working on the website framework a few years ago.
avatar
BKGaming: They have updated quite a bit. Just certain parts needs some TLC, like the reviews, forums, wishlist, etc.
Fair enough.

BKGaming: So I was bored and decided it would be fun to come up with a concept for a redesign of the GOG user reviews. I also figured I might as well share them. I would appreciate feedback even if it is for fun.
Hey, thanks for your suggestions. :) They were seen by pplz here. :)
I think stylistically it looks great but when you start stacking them it looks a little two bulky. Probably would need to one entire single box element with some slightly less pronounced effect to individualize the reviews.

No problem. I might rework other parts of the site too for fun. At some point. xD

Oh yea they would need some more work for sure... this was just a quick mock up.

lets not
Suggestions for new GOG Profiles wallpapers:

You can add a new section with the wallpapers of the past GOG sales, many of them have a very cool design, for example: the current Most Wanted Games Sale, the St. Patrick's Day Sale, the Halloween Sale, the Summer and Winter sales with the monsters and the others with the squirrel, the Pinata Sale, the Insomnia Sale with the sheeps and UFO etc.

Also, in addition to the normal wallpapers of the game you own, you can add a wallpaper which unlocks when you complete all the achievements of the relative game.
