I wish Hatred had a mood-setting in the options so players could change the look and attitude of the whole game; and separately, that it was also fun to play no matter what the vibe instead of not at all.

Granted, but setting the mood is now the *only* thing you can do, with the game otherwise playing out automatically (though it's at least fun to watch). Note that changing the mood can affect the gameplay, so it's still interactive, just only mildly so.

I wish that low-interaction mechanics-focused games would start becoming popular. (Specifically, I'm thinking of games that have emergent behavior, like Conway's Game of Life, rather than things like visual novels.)

I wish for an end to the avalanche of garish, pixelated first person shooters of no substance and integrity made by half a man (obviously, somebody who has made a part-time job of it), and for these to be replaced by a handful of really good, less garish, perhaps pixelated first person shooters that really stand out for their quality.
