GOG gets bought out by MicroDisneyWal-mazonPepsiNewsCorpDonalds and becomes the dominant digital distributor of PC games...with DRM. And not "soft" DRM like requiring a client to download the game, either -- we're talking SecuRom-level DRM, here. And install limits. On all games. And games that get pulled from the store are permanently removed from your account, too. ...But, yeah, they'll "sell" you most of the games that you want.

Granted, but your joy is short lived, as a series of e.m.p.s spread over the world destroying all electronic equipment, except for coffee pots. Nothing exits with some morning/late night coffee.

Granted. The money you invested was the last push they needed to become real worldwide monopoly, they obtain the rights for all games, books, movies, operating systems, office suites, plays, etc and sue any competition out of existence, they even orchestrate coup and replace the government in several countries.

Only the 1% can now afford any form of medias since Microsoft and Amazon have no competition but each other but they keep it that way to be able to deny being monopolies. Operating Systems need to be renewed every 3 months and books get erased after five days.

I wish Brussels sprouts were junk food so I could enjoy them at the movies instead of popcorn or in fast food places in addition to fries.

Granted! but they removed the regular snacks to make room and the sprouts taste like bunghole.

I wish I had a wicked high end gaming rig.

Granted. Your new computer is top of the line, has several 4000k monitors, multiple graphics cards, massive solid state drives and can run any game you throw at it completely maxed out.

It also uses several thousand watts, so your power bill is triple what it used to be.


I wish I could make the video games of my dreams simply by imagining them and that they would work flawlessly with great compatibility on any age computer (in other words, very scalable) and let me do everything in games I've always wanted to do (and of course that I could then sell those games to make lots of money).

I wish that Leisure Suit Larry would be made into a terrible big-budget theatrical Hollywood comedy. Possibly starring...I don't know, Ben Stiller or something. Just for shiggles.
