I'm throwing a party exclusively for three-armed cyclops hermaphrodites age 172+. Unfortunately, I'm short on space, so I can only invite 50 of you. Oh, but how shall I choose whom? I know! Each of you explain to me why you think you deserve a spot, in an 8000+ word essay containing at least 3 allusions to iguanas holding umbrellas. The winners will be invited, and the losers will be infected with Anthrax (the band, not the disease). The party will commence on Octauguary 53rd, 726 BC somewhere on Venus. Directions will be provided in the form of the clues in a scavenger hunt, but you must provide your own transportation. So what are you waiting for? Get writing!
Because.

But you just gave us the location- can't we just Google map our way there?
You're disqualified. Your response did not exceed the minimum 8000 word limit, nor did it contain even a single reference to an iguana with an umbrella. It makes me wonder if your heart is really in this.

EDIT: That was a response to the first reply (although it could apply to the second as well). "Venus" is not a specific enough location for Google maps, nor is it in their database at all.

Does Google Maps lead you into the past now?

Is there anywhere Google can't go?
Well as I said, you'll need your own transportation, which includes a time machine.

heh, of course that's not the real area 51 though....lol
I'm immediately reminded of Startopia for some reason.
Is it because you were just looking at the Startopia page?
actually.
Actually what? You know, I'm beginning to think that none of you take my post seriously. The only person who even answered my question was CARRION.FLOWERS, and his answer was feeble at best.
