If there was a law, all Developers would be in court, just look at AC Unity for instance. Games would never come out of InDev.

As for the game, well, looks interesting. Perhaps if they released the mod tools the community could fix some of it, unfortunately that seems to not be happening, therefore I don’t see much hope for it.

And suddenly this game is "GREAT" in his mind and GoG should reconsider. You should see the list of YouTube videos making fun of this horrible game. Steam reviews are so abysmal that it makes Grimoire look like a great game and that's a feat. And those Steam reviews were allegedly manipulated by the devs resulting in Steam temporarily removing it from their Store. This game is notoriously bad.

I do recall the stunt they pulled with their fake good reviews that got the game pulled from steam back then. Add to that the studio is notorious for fake marketing and scams to the point where I wonder if the op works for Topware, especially since they are trying to put their 'new' Two Worlds 2 DLC on here.

As to those who like the game and want it on here as others have pointed out gog is a commercial company so with thousands of cdkeys for the game under 10 cents and still being a hard sell it doesn't bode well on the commercial front.

Regardless of the legion of bugs being fixed somehow you'd still have to deal with the atrocious main character, voice acting and the plot is terrible. I had massive interest in Ravens Cry back before it came out but it was quickly killed off upon release and I watched the whole thing in a lets play.

I do understand the thirst for more pirate games set in the Caribbean though, however I suggest sticking to other games like Sid Miers Pirates, there is also Blood and Gold: Caribbean that uses the mount and blade engine, both games are on gog and a few more.

A game called Skull & Bones by Ubisoft Singapore is slated for March 2020, there is naval action and Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail coming soon (although that is more the Napoleonic era then Pirate Era)

A lot of people on this forum are sick of people like you complaining about every game GoG rejects, making a big stink about it, and your vain attempts to convince them to change their decision.

You keep trying to claim this game improved, but it really didn't much. The review score is 46%. Reviews for the past year are 56% which isn't much better.

And to pick one of the most universally despised and notorious games of the last 5 years as your hill to die on is more than silly.

There is nothing "fictitious" about what I've said. Anyone can look up the review scores. Anyone can look into the allegations of review manipulation. I ran across a link to a user with 17 "friends" all with only 9 or 10 games, many of which left a positive review in German after playing just this one game, their only review. I suppose some of the others may have reviewed it and had theirs removed by Steam.
