Omar Sharif
Tom Moore
Wes Craven
Helmut Schmidt
Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister

Still three days to go...

Elmofongo: 1. Appearently people forgot Motohead's former Drummer Phil Taylor died aswell this year (No offense to anyone)

2. And you want to know who I am surprised has not died yet? Christopher Tolkien is still alive and he is 91. I'd ne amazed if he lives to be 100, but than again I thought Christopher Lee was going to be make it to 100.
To quote Lemmy himself.
"I’m feeling very sad at the moment, in fact devastated, because one of my best friends died yesterday. I miss him already. His name was Phil Taylor, or Philthy Animal, and he was our drummer twice in our career. Now he’s died and it really pisses me off that they take somebody like him and leave George Bush alive. So muse on that …"

Well now he's with Phil Taylor rocking in Metal Heaven.

Most probably. One heck of a concert I bet! ;)

R8V9F5A2: Yeah, I just read about it reading the morning news.
Motörhead was one of the very first bands to introduce me to good music.
The Metal Gods are gradually leaving us.
When these guys are all gone what will we be left with ?
I really feel like playing some Brutal Legend right now.

CharlesGrey: ...

And does Lemmy have a cameo in Brütal Legend? I know Ozzy does. Still haven't played the game, even though I own it here.
He sure does.
WWE did a very nice little tribute to him during RAW last night. Nice touch.
Sad news to heard of, I'm having a conversation about Motorhead while hanging out with my friend last week.

RIP Lemmy
Sadly enough it was quite evident for a good while that Lemmy wasn't in the greatest of health.

R.I.P.

One of the greatest of metal men has left the small stage for the bigger one.
Can we now have this movie on GoG please?
It seems Motorhead is now climbing the sales charts. Success even in death!

Why not "Eat the Rich"?
R.I.P. Lemmy.

Motörhead - Hellraiser

Even as im not a die hard fan i really enjoyed them in the Bang your head Festival 2005

And as the german spiegel have also an obituary to him with a lot of quotations one of his typical cynical one liners:
"Die Krankenversicherung, die mich nehmen würde, muss noch erfunden werden."
and German Stern writes:
"Einer, der Keith Richards aussehen lässt wie einen Müsli fresser. Richards wirbt für Louis Vuitton?
Kilmister - wenn überhaupt - für Chips zum Whiskey." ;-)

RIP Lemmy

What a dark year this 2015
I question what we will have in 10 or 20 years when all the Originals of Rock and Metal will no longer play.
A silent earth?

PS: Just read in a comment:
Now when childs ask, why theres thunder in heaven, the answer is Lemmy s doing his Soundcheck.

Well, that`s the dark side of the music busyness: Whenever an artist dies, the sales of him/her and the bands records will climb higher then the peak of Mount Everest. Death (Dead?) artist generate often more money than they did when they were alive. Just look at the sales of Wacko Jacko albums before and after his death.
It`s a sad thing, but maybe only the human nature. :-(
