Shakirawolf: Hi;Is there any coed for this game,im stuck and need torches.
Hi
There is a Cheat engine script for LoG which gives you unlimited XP.
Also there is an AutoHotKey script which solves trap puzzle with ease.

Breja: there are no torches in Torchlight!
It's just the light from them, not the actual torches themselves, y'see.

A man once asked me "What is the sound of one hand clapping?", so I reached over and slapped him across the face.
is there a way to play the game with just one character and solo it? I always wanted more of a intense runthrough with one character.

It's definitely possible not to have a full roster, but I doubt you'll survive very long with just one person. Certain fights in more enclosed spaces seem to require a party. I couldn't think of a way to beat those situations on your own. It'll also very much limit you in the things you could do because you'll only have one class to work with.

It's possible to play but hard to finish.
Also if you use cheat then it becomes easy.

do you know how it's done? cause when I start a new game I have to choose others and cant do solo.

do I need a save file with clear game data for this to be possible?

Hm. Maybe it's only possible in the sequel then. I guess you can just let the extra characters die off. For the back row that should go fairly quickly since all you have to do is have your party if you show enemies your backside.

There is supposedly some sort of save editor floating around somewhere that you should be able to use. Out of curiosity, I've just tried messing around with console commands once enabled through the .cfg file, but had no luck there, even though there should be a way to kill off your characters that way. *shrug*

There is also a secret mode you can unlock which lets you play as one particularly powerful character. To unlock it, you have to find a specific secret late on in the game, think to do something the game doesn't prompt you to do with what you find there, and then enter...something specific in the character creation screen.
