WinterSnowfall: Same here, though I can also understand anyone who decides to stay away from it all. Unfortunately a lot of good people from "back in the day" just aren't around any more.

WinterSnowfall: If this is indeed it, I agree OP is overreacting a bit. These forums are open to people of all ages, maturity levels etc. and talking about a sensitive topic such as DRM is bound to irk some people and occasionally cause exaggerations just to get their views across. TBH, I thought his reaction was caused by a personal attack.

I hate Denuvo too, but we should hate it for the right reasons and blame it for what it does, not what id doesn't do.
So did i and saw no personal attacks and yes on that we can agree that it should be judged for what it actually does and it certainly deserves criticism but facts matters.

I read that thread and assumed the deleted posts replaced with the word 'trolled' meant that Dean was the one doing the trolling. It seemed like the only reasonable explanation, because the other posters had been polite to him and advocating for Denuvo on GOG is a pretty inflammatory thing to do.

Perhaps some people interpreted it that way, but I think he was just trying to downplay the demonization of Denuvo with facts he was aware of from his work as a developer. Yes, Denuvo is bad because all DRM is inherently bad in the long run. It does not eat your children, like Witchers do.

I agree he overreacted about this whole thing though.

I can understand that - I actually buy games with Denuvo myself and haven't had any issues with it (yet). But as he wasn't actually trolled by anybody in the thread I assumed he was referring to his own posts.

Well there was the post where I told him his mother was a hamster and his father smelled of elderberries, but evidently Linko deleted that.

Well, he did say he felt insulted, not that he was :P. I don't see any insults there either.

I've never trolled any person in my life and not about to start at my age, Denuvo or any drm for that matter you choose to accept it or not.
