Playing days gone now. It’s not a bad game. Has a few annoyances (like you have to be right in the specific spot for interaction to work, and finding nests is a real pain).
God of war was a cracking game probably my favourite PS4 title. Spider man and uncharted both also very good. LoU and blood our eyes, no thanks.
Nice to see them on pc, and graphics would be better (PS4 only does hd output which is useless On a UHD 3k monitor). AC Odyssey for instance is signifivpcantly better looking on PC at max settings.
And they'll all be arbitrarily locked to DX12 so i can't play them...

It depends. Days Gone is a D3D11 title for example. No clue about any of the other upcoming ones.

joppo: Come on Gog! You have shown a few improvements and you're not far from making me buy from you again. Just keep improving a bit more.

patrikc: Improvements, how do you mean? I might have missed something these past days.
Definitely not these past few days. I'm talking about when Gog suddenly updated several offline installers at once to be at the same version as the Galxy installers. Unfortunately I can't find the link for Mrkgnao's post informing it. I think it was about 3 months ago.
They also have improved communication within the forums a bit. Every so often you see a blue post that is not reprimanding someone. There is a lot of room for improvement, but I acknowledge they at least took a few steps in the right direction. I hope they only improve from there.

Would be nice, but it's Sony, and after HZD, I'm not getting my hopes up, especially not for high end visual titles like Spider-Man or Tsushima.

You know it already.

And obviously no Linux ever
high rated

mechmouse: If Days Gone comes to GoG, it could be very good days ahead.
A bigger if, as one would think:
Days Gone PC Data Collection Policy Is a Privacy Nightmare

Most likely one of the reasons why it's not out on GoG yet and depending on whether this can be resolved (by Sony or GoG), actually might not get a release here at all.
Bodes not exactly well in regards to that list of upcoming ports, too.

Ah, yes, I remember something about some offline installers. It's good they got updated, but at the same time I feel they shouldn't be neglected in the first place.
When it comes to communication it's a bit of a hit and more of a miss. Somehow I feel that when users post difficult questions there is nothing but silence from GOG, which is very disappointing. There are many issues that need to be addressed and time is just going by, without any resolution in sight.
As you just said, there is room for improvement. Honest and open communication should be at the top of their list.

There were times before when gog had better communications with the community. You know, back when linko was a mod (and that's saying something given i really, really didn't like him as a mod)? GOG has just gone too corporate. I cannot stop posting this screenshot enough:

Nice, a few great titles.

Too bad that the 2021 and 2022 titles are not my cup of tea. 2023 looks like an amazing release year though.

Never got the hype behind the The Last of Us franchise and the newest God of War game.

I'm clearly in the minority since apparently everybody knows this, but what is a "Xtreem(on Steam)"?

Perhaps a username or something.
I'll probably play none of those titles but for me, the most interesting one is Gran Turismo Sport, since is the only multiplayer listed. it will be fun to watch how Sony will handle the multiplayer aspect and how will monetize the heck of that game.

KetobaK: Bloodborne for 2024???? This has a source?
avatar
ALAKAZAM1: I believe it does, you should ask Xtreem on Steam for the details but I think it had something to do with Amazon listing them by mistake.
Thanks!
I haven't seen this news reported anywhere else, who is this Xtreem, and what actual evidence does he have?
