Ghostbreed: Then perhaps you know some good tweaks I could use when I get it?
1920x1080 resolution for example. 1280x1024 works just fine though.
Sadly no, I played with a 4:3 resolution, just made sure that my screen/GPU doesn't stretch it.

Aw okay, it really doesn't affect me much.
Elder Scrolls Anthology: came with full Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, plus paper maps. And didn't play any of it until I got my GoG Elder Scrolls pack. :\

Just make sure you don't get addicted to keeping the accuracy at 100%. That little fucker in the upper left corner has done some serious mental damage to me. I ended up usually quickloading every single time I missed a single shot because of it. :P

Lol yeah, I never bothered how good my accuracy was in older games that kept on scoring for that.
Well, as long as there's no award being a sharpshooter I ignore it. Or is there a reward in Kiss?
Rise of nations: rise of legends 5 dollars and works great on windows 10 with no problems :)

fun game too
I've been collecting for NES recently. Some of the games I've picked up are TMNT 2-3, Batman, Journey to Silius, The Guardian Legend, and Guerilla War.

Also the Mega Man Legacy Collection for PS4 if that counts.

NES? Now that's pretty O.G.
9'2011 - Dark Star One
The last physical old game I bought was Lord of the Rings War of the Ring a few months back on ebay... Still can't get it to run in wine that well.

micktiegs_8: Honestly, I've been so taken by WC3 I'm finding it difficult to enjoy any strategy game today because of the expectations are so high. I don't even think WC4 will be as good... and it's not even a thing yet.
Me too, almost every strategy game I get I usually (mostly unknowingly at some point) compare it to WC3. Haven't found one as good yet.

Technomage, boxed in mint condition.
I've probably gotten some older things recently on Steam or Origin, but the things that stick out in my head as fairly recently acquired and meaningfully old are Warcraft 1 & 2 and Hyper 3-D Pinball.

I honestly haven't taken the time to get them going yet, though. (WC2 is the Battle.net edition, so that's honestly probably quirkier than dealing with Dosbox.)

Not that I know of. It's just seductively easy to keep the accuracy up, especially when using the Starbearer's sword. :D
Depends on what you'd call old. The last one I think was... Luminous Arc 2. I got it from a guy in California over eBay who somehow acquired the European version which he sold to me with the box, case, manual, soundtrack, and cartridge in nice condition for what he could have sold just the game for.
I purchased a brand new copy of Raw Danger. My old copy got damaged and I have been wanting to replay it.
